I confess right here and right now....."Hello, my name is Cedar. I Love Twinkies".

Explosion in NY city this morning. What a way to start the morning, while having a cup of coffee. Hearing that someone planted a bomb in times square @ 3:45 this morning, they are looking at the cameras near the area.
Cold here, but no snow or ice today so that's good.Expecting a north Eastern storm on Friday & Saturday.

Hope everyone has a great day today.!!! enjoy another cup of coffee on me.

"Hi Cedar..."

~Hi Jay!! Good Morning Debbie...Yes, I just heard that on NPR...Mayor Bloomberg said all they know is the bomb was meant for the recruiting office?? Oh boy. Some mysterious bicyclist...eating a fired twinkie...

:snowball:

I hate to sound jaded, or depressing, but I'm amazed that we don't see more of this type of stuff...It's amazing to me that in such a huge city as New York is, there are so few "incidents"...I think that is a credit to our law enforcement and government agencies. I fully believe that way more attempts to hurt us are thwarted than we even hear about!

Jay

I believe what you are saying is so true, there is so much that we don't know . I believe there are more attempts & they never tell us.

But you know, in some small way, the terrorists are winning...Cause each time I go over to New York to a large gathering (concert, play, sporting event, tree in Rock Center) I wonder if I am completely safe...But the truth is, you never know...There could be a cop for every guest and I still could get hit by a bus on my way home...I guess what we can do is live our lives like we would normally do and trust that whatever happens is not up to us, at least that's what works for me!

It's still a very scarely way to have to live, knowing at any monent they can hit us again.

I'll bet those cute dogs have plaid jumpers for the cold weather....

YABBA!

FRIDAY! What more needs be said?

Very overcast this morning with the threat of (much needed) rain. (OK. Just as long as the lightning stays away!)

Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends!
May your weekend be the greatest!
(And keep in mind the next weekend will see us reach 1/3!)

Maureen those pictures are too funny! Reedpoint Montana holds a annual "Great Montana Sheep Drive" every year on labor day weekend. I have been there a few times. It's rather interesting. In a town with a population of less than 100. This event draws a crowd of almost 10,000 people to witness the running of the sheep down main street...as well as checking out the parade, vendors and local street dance. The interstate(I-90) runs through here and with it being summer and alot of tourist from all over the place stop to see what's going on... I can only imagine what they are thinking when they pull in and witness this crazy event. I am sharing 2 pictures of the sheep drive and a funny picture of a sheep on a Motorcycle I found online...*L

Yes it was wool. I wore it with a black turtleneck sweater and black tights! I tried to look like the Brit model Jean Shrimpton...but ended up resembling Twiggy instead! (long stick legs) Funny, I wore my mini skirts with a "Maxi" coat! Which was a long coat, to compliment the mini. LOL. Oh man, Those wild and crazy 60's. I even IRONED my hair so it would be dead straight. !! ~Groovy baybee, YEAH!

The ewe in the pic? It's a ram...or it's a ewe pretending to be a ram, you just never know these days...

YABBA! FRIDAY! YABBA!
