Christmas Countdown - 2014

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

Tonight is Elizabeth's big night! Count: The Legend of Dracula opens at 7:30, and she's very excited. A large ballet company is joining them, and all the girls are so proud to be able to say that they worked with John Something-or-other. He supposed to be some very respected ballet guy.

I hope they'll allow me to take a couple pictures of her in costume. If so, I'll post them.

TGIF folks. Should be a great long weekend with Ethan home from college on fall break. Planning to go on a hike on the Appalachian Trail on Saturday. Ethan's college is down in the flat lands and he misses the mountains.

Checked our long range forecast and it looks good. No more highs in the 70s and lows in the upper 30s. Hope we have a hard frost.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a nice day here in central Indy with a high right around 60 degree's. The sun is finally out for what seems like the first time since last weekend. So hopefully I can get out and enjoy it for a bit. Other than that, I don't have anything planned for today. Just more job searching and watching Nascar practice. Might bake some more blueberry muffins too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning everyone!

It is another dreary but warm day in Ottawa. I guess it is an OK day to be in the confines of Passport but I would sooner by teaching. At least I am booked already for Monday.

I am currently unsure of plans for the weekend. My friend is having people at his cottage to re-shingle his roof. I want to back for around 1pm on Sunday. So we shall see if I can find someone leaving a little early.

The count is down to 27 and we are on the eve of the weekend. It is perfect to have the Season begin on a Thursday... It fits well with Pines Day and weekend eve between.

Back to work shortly. Have a great Friday everyone!

Merry Morning! How is it Friday already!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you all are doing well

Yesterday I ended up watching A Christmas Romance and Annie Claus lol They are my first Christmas films for the this year! I am so excited that one of our channels has switched to Christmas movies all day - I just love it!

Our weather is very erratic going from very cold to warm. It is going to be warm for the next few days around 19C (66F I think). That is just crazy for us.

Yesterday , we found out our favourite sea food restaurant closed BUT an American Barbecue restaurant has taken it's place - the menu is amazing! You can even get floats! Hoping to try it out very soon!

So I guess the end of one thing means the beginning of something else

Anyway I hope you all have a great Friday and weekend!

I'm sorry the seafood restuarant closed but I hope you love the BBQ Place that took it's place!!!!

Well, a dry day at last here yesterday with plenty of sun.
It was a bit cool, but still got close to 70 and really was not bad at all for mid October.
Today and Saturday should be fine ones as well, but cooler weather may move in after that.
Right now, we perceive 49.8 degrees here on our digital back door thermometer, for a chilly early start to the day.

Good morning MMC!!! Happy, Happy Friday! I love Friday ~ Especially when they are beautiful outside!!! We have a high of nearly 70º, sunshine....ahhh, love it! But it bottoms out tomorrow with a high of 50 & a low of 33! Better enjoy today!!! Planning to sit in the back yard with the neighbors this afternoon after work ~ Funday Friday! I'll be heading to the lake later on!

Our house was a nut house last night. My friends SIL called to see if she could come over to see Gracie ~ Sure! Before she could get there (about 10 minutes) our neighbor & her 3 kids came over, my high school friend & her hubby stopped in...then she came with her son! Our room filled up pretty quick! :lol: They were all gone by 9:30 & about 10:00 we hear a knock knock knock on our back door. It was our back yard neighbors coming to see the big screen! LOL! Our neighbor boy plays football for PITT - the game was on TV last night so they stuck around to watch the end of the game. Our neighbor boy is just a freshman (quarterback) so we saw him on the sidelines a few times! She brought me some homemade pumpkin spice creamer for coffee, which I am ENJOYING this morning! Mmmm! But what a night. We loved it!
