Snow I have to ask...I get alerts on my phone from Tapatalk anytime someone responds to a thread I'm subscribed to. Some mornings I get alerts from your response that come in about four in the morning!! I get up at five, but your posts are an hour old by the time I see them? What time do you wake up?!?!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

The ballet this weekend was great, and my Elizabeth was fabulous, as usual! It was very well choreographed, although the music was mostly hard rock. The professional ballet troupe that was featured is more "progressive" than most. I prefer orchestral, "Nutcracker"-style music in ballet, but the dancing was impressive, and Elizabeth really enjoyed herself. That's what counts to me.

My brother, Jacob and I worked on Jacob's hunting area yesterday afternoon. I ran a chainsaw all afternoon, but my back is holding up surprisingly well..LOL. We cleaned up, put out some corn, and set up the StealthCam, so we are ready!

Wow!

You don't seem to go to bed real early. How do you do it?!

I try to be in bed by 9:00, if I try any earlier, I toss & turn because my brain doesn't shut off. I don't always get enough sleep during the week, but try to catch up on my weekends! Wednesdays are later days, too. So, if I don't have any appointments, I can sleep in a little longer then =]

Good morning, friends! Coffee is hot, but it's too cold to sit outside for a prolonged period. It's 44 degrees here! It was 85 yesterday! Goodness. It's ok, though. I love the cooler temps. I'm going to get the fireplace ready today.

We put our tree up in less than two weeks! Any tips for how to keep a one year old away from it?

Two weeks?? Really?? Now THAT'S exciting!!!! Any tips for keeping a 11 month old puppy away from the tree? :lol:

Hello All! Its been awhile since Ive been on here. Its been pretty busy around our place. I have enjoyed watching the mile stones on my iPhone calendar though. We don't put up our tree until after thanksgiving dinner but will be starting to organize the outside lights pretty quick. This Christmas will be extra special for my family. It will be the last time its just the 4 of us. Our oldest son is getting married right after college graduation. So we have plenty to keep us busy and look forward to over the next several months

It has been a busy morning. I have enjoyed the easy teaching days of the previous weeks, and now I am in the classroom with three fairly difficult classes. It should make for an interesting day. As of right now, I am nearly halfway complete. Still, I'd prefer this over making passports!

It was quite chilly this morning. The windchill had us below freezing. As of right now, we are at about 4c/39f (2c/36f). Interestingly, the temperature appears to be warming up again as we head into the final 10 days of October.

Speaking of October, it's great to see that extra countdown date added in. Only 11 Day until Halloween? Wow! And, when we arrive at Halloween, it will be less than two weeks until the beginning of the Christmas Season! We're closing in, and we're closing in fast!

Well, I hope that everyone had a great weekend. It was a busy one for me! I helped a friend remove the shingles from his cottage. I could only be there for a day, but they successfully put new shingles on yesterday. I had a nice quiet night with Kim on Saturday and then enjoyed a Packers victory yesterday. A great way to cap off a weekend! This week should be quite busy, too.

Now, we are into the second last full workweek of October. Time is flying. Hopefully I will have the opportunity to get out and spot some Blossoms of Christmas this week! Well, I hope your Monday has treated you well thus far! Have a great day, everyone!

what´s Christmas Gang!!!!! Good news on two fronts......first.....I am invited to a job interview...of course it´s just an interview.....still a much better feeling to open the letter an read that instead of.....thank You for Your application...unfortunately we have decided to take another person instead.......lol....cross Your fingers...maybe I´m lucky and get the job.
2nd.: We have a new furry family member....he´s a black boycat named Spike......at the moment Stripey and Spike are busy hissing and he is hiding behind the couch........he ate tho and used his litter box....instead of the floor....lol....which he did at his former home

They were setting up the christmas decorations and trees up at work yesterday. They are not lit yet but probably very soon! It was amazing to see the trees up.

I have a really busy week ahead but I can look forward to all weekend off as I am not in work on Sunday. I am looking forward to it!

I didn't get too far on here because I got to go! Say a prayer for Snow-in-Texas. He is going in for a minor medical procedure this morning but will not be at the hospital where the Ebola patients have been like we first thought, instead, just right down the street. I am sure the hospital in general is safe but we would rather wait until they clear all of this up first just in case!

Good morning, friends! Hope you all had a great weekend and have a great start to your week! I had yesterday day off, so I'm just sitting here enjoying a cup of coffee and listening to some Christmas music.

What are your plans for today? Not a whole lot planned for today. Both of the kids are in school. DH is out getting my car inspected right now, but will be back home in a little bit. He's off until 4, so we'll at least see each other for a little bit today. We have some errands to run later this afternoon and pick the kids up from school. I go back to work tonight as well.

Can't believe another weekend has come and gone so fast!

Had a great day yesterday out shopping, and Joan and I scored big at Micheal's during their employee appreciation sale, with her discount, 40% off our total order! Scored some new additions for my Christmas village and a couple new ornaments.


Felt like Ralphie from "A Christmas Story" looking at the display window at Higbees seeing Boscovs Lemax village display! So many items I want from this!


Hope everyone is doing good and the week is starting off great!

Seen this at Sears too....as a big Christmas fan and Star Wars fan....I kind of want this but it is over $100 still watching for this to go on sale lol!
