Christmas Countdown - 2014

Hideeeho my friends...another day closer to our favorite time of the year. The house still looks like a hot mess....all of Kandice´s toys are stacked in boxes who are in the living room and hallway and our bedroom......hard to believe how much stuff an 8 year old can have!!!!
Today we start painting....probably the ceiling

[Festive Spirit]

Merry Morning!

It's been a hectic morning already. We had Isaac's last therapy session this morning. He will now be referred to Clinic. Although he is improving, there are times I am still so worried. I guess it is natural to feel this way. I believe in him and I won't lose faith. He has a hospital appointment on Thursday morning - a follow up from the one in June.

I had to miss my other son's award ceremony this morning because it clashed with Isaac's appointment. I feel pretty bad about that but when you have more than one child, I guess these things will happen. The worse bit was that she ran 40mins late for our appointment so I could have made the ceremony if I knew!!

Ok enough complaining

How are you all? CAH I have been praying for SnowInTexas. Hope things are ok? Made I have keeping your mum in prayer too. HomakinGirl , I hope you are better now.

Sorry I have not been keeping up with posts, it's really hard to these days.

Days to Halloween: 10 (SINGLE DIGITS from tomorrow!)
Days to the Season: 23 (Two weeks from the day after tomorrow!)
Days to Christmas Day: 65 (Nine weeks from the day after tomorrow!)

Sailing right along in our journey, we are.


A tad warmer yesterday and we managed to crack 70 by late afternoon.
We will stay cool for several more days but it should be dry and sunny.
Currently, I read 53 degrees on our back door thermometer.


Now, you be sure and have that Tip Top Terrific Tuesday, OK?

Good morning! It's a cool, nice 48 degrees here this morning. It's actually about 14 degrees warmer this morning, then it was yesterday morning for which we had a frost on the cars for the first time this season.

Last night we went up to a local Ma and Pa, farm stand and bought pumpkins for the front porch and house. Of course, while I was there, I just had to get one of those lovely homemade Apple Pies that they had on the shelf....Lisa put my arms behind my back and forced me too....lol~

I pulled into the driveway last night, and there were at least 10 deer standing there looking at me; what a site to see so many white tails. They were about 50 feet from my front porch. I started thinking , what would of have Jed Clampett (Beverly Hillbillies) of done......lol~

Tonight, when I get home, I'm going to start putting up some Halloween decorations outside for the first time in a year. Looking forward to seeing some decorations again on my house.

We're both really sharp, so we're both driving 'em nuts with the quantity of errors and questions we're finding. (Yes, we're still here working.)

Hello fellow Christmas pals! I have been missing in action this past week because I had a horrible and I mean horrible virus/flu/bug whatever I just know I lived in the bathroom for 3 days,but I am on the mend, I hope everyone else who got the flu shot this year don't get it sick, I guess at least I should be glad it did not happen during the holidays! Watching my first Christmas movie of the year - well, sort of. Decided to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas on Netflix after finishing Friday the 13th on AMC. Love all the Halloween movies!

Good evening everyone. Another busy day for me, I had a lot to do after work today. I still don't feel well so I'm going to turn in now and try to get some sleep. I'm going to talk to the preschool owner tomorrow and see if she would be willing to let me cut down the amount of days that I'm there. I had a feeling Monday through Friday was going to be too much for me. I'm spreading myself too thin and it's starting to catch up with me. Anyway, we'll see what happens. Hopefully it will all work out. Enjoy the rest of the evening, goodnight!

Another long day at work, the more I get done, the farther behind I get. Goes with the season, I guess.
I am beat tonight, but I have tomorrow off. Only have to get my laundry done, so a bit of relaxing will be part of the day.

Just listening to the new Status Quo album that came out today, someone posted it on Youtube. It has been a good listen, I will be adding it to my Christmas list.

[Christmas-A-Holic]

I have received emails and private messages from several of you asking about Snow-in-Texas - thank you! I should have posted here sooner but he is doing very well and everything checked out good! Thanks again for your prayers, thoughts and messages.

After he got through yesterday we came home and watched some Christmas shows and movies. We also watched a lot of the Fast n Loud marathon that was on all day. It's the first time I have really watched it and I enjoyed it quite a bit, better than I thought it would be. Now if we go to where they record the show again, which is very close to our house, I will appreciate it a bit more!

Even though Wayne had to go through what he did yesterday we sure did enjoy our chill out time together when he got home!

We just painted the bathroom, utility room, new room, all around the trim we are replacing on all the doorways, ceilings...I feel your pain. Good luck!!! :grin:
