Christmas Countdown - 2014

good morning everyone! Tonight the clocks were set back one hour....we are now in Wintertime!!!! YAAAAAAY!!!!!!!
The stores are open today (only three Sundays the year, that our stores are open on Sundays!)....so we might go to the city...not sure about it yet.....I had caught a stomach bug two days ago....nothing serious....just not been feeling 100%....still not....eventho I think it has gotten better!
Right now, Kandice and my goddaughter are watching Nightmare before Christmas....we might play some Wii....or I´ll take another nap....lol....they say sleeping helps to heal the body don´t they
I hope you are feeling better.
I wish everything would be closed on Sundays here, when I was a kid in the 80's the old Massachusetts Blue Laws forbade stores from opening on Sundays.
We absolutely love it there.

I woke up this morning and I am in full blown Christmas mood. I just want to put up my tree and decorate today, but it is still before Halloween, I would NEVER be able to get away with that. I think going to Yankee Candle yesterday just really has got me excited for the holidays. (More so than usual)
My Bengals are holding on for dear life on their 1 point lead, at least they scored a TD today. I hope they win and get their season back on track at this point.
My wife has gone to a Kohl's Fashion Show for the day, I will be taking the boys to Trunk or Treating, it is held by the PTA people decorate the trunks of their cars for Halloween and hand out candy to the kids.
I think we helped Yankee Candle make some money yesterday, we bought 3 large candles, Red Apple Wreath, Autumn Leaves, and White Christmas. I couldn't decide on White Christmas, or Magical Frosted Forest. I like the scent of both, but the scent of White Christmas was a little more Christmassy, even though I liked the color and picture of Magical Frosted Forest better. I went with scent of over physical appearance.
We also bought a dozen votives, thank goodness we had coupons. cheesy
The boys also spoke to Santa and Mrs. Claus for about 15 minutes, they were such good Claus's, they told the boys how their Elf on the Shelf, Holiday, was doing at the North Pole, they said he was causing sooooooo much trouble that they will most likely send him to our house early this year.
Just resting until 4, I'll be around, Bengals got another TD. Wooooohoooo!

We've had a beautiful day here. It ended up reaching 65 degrees! Last year, when we went to the corn maize, it was in the 30's! We had a fun time, found our way through the whole maize (success!), and picked out a bunch of pumpkins and gourds. And fed all of the sweet animals, too!
