Good evening, everyone!

Glad to see you all at the 'Pines! Thanks for sending your positivity my way. I thought it was going to be a tough day, but it was actually fairly easy. Some of the troubled students were doing credit intervention day, so the classes were less hectic. Good stuff!

Carl really has the place all decorated for Halloween. I didn't think he could top last years giant pumpkin, but he's done it again, that crazy camel. As always, it's great to celebrate Halloween. The orange and black fired twinkies are delicious and I am certainly glad that I sat out on the apple bobbing! Carl is an expert.

I probably won't be able to stay awake, but it will certainly be a great feeling to see the countdown move to exactly two weeks when the clock strikes midnight. Wow!

Rubber Soul is an awesome album, it really bridges the early pop songs (I'm Looking Through You) to the psychedelic era (Norwegian Wood) very well.
 
Good evening everyone! it's been a busy week at work and at home, work work work!!! The weather has been mild actually we are still having highs in the mid 70's which feel awesome but are about 25 degrees above normal, our normal high for late October is 52F and the average low is 33F which we are about 25 to 20 degrees above that. They are calling for a warmer than average winter for the west, but we still should get a lot of cold and snow. We have not seen our first flakes yet. Last year our first snow was on oct24th so we are a tad behind in our 10 day forecast we are not showing any snow...I am just glad the leaves have finally stopped falling I can get the rest of them up this upcoming weekend! Have a nice night everyone!

Good evening!
I found out today that I will only be working the Tuesday & Thursday shifts at the preschool starting next week. Thats what I originally wanted, it's going to be a much better fit for me. I'm so relieved, working Monday through Friday was way too much for me. Since I'm finishing out this week I get to go to two Halloween parties at the school, one tomorrow and one on Friday. Should be lots of fun, can't wait to see the kids dressed up in their costumes.
