Good evening, everyone!

Hope your Devil's Night has been safe. Kim and I had a few errands to run after work, then came home to work on a few things around the apartment. It is tradition that Kim finds a stencil online and carves her pumpkin just before Halloween. She's currently carving ET into the pumpkin. It looks pretty good! I'm excited to see the final product.

While Kim was carving, I prepared lunch/dinner for tomorrow. It should be a busy day. I am heading to the gym after work, then a Halloween party in the evening/night. Since we are finally in a house/apartment Kim is excited to give out candy. Hopefully there are lots of kids. I am guessing we might get around 50?

Kim has been watching a Halloween marathon on AMC, so I didn't get to watch It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Instead, I watched the Kings get shutout by the Penguins. They played well, but seemed a little sluggish. I also watched the end of the Bruins vs. Sabres game. It was nice to see the Bruins take two points in that game.

Well, I should be getting ready for bed shortly. I haven't received a call for teaching yet (boo!). Perhaps something will open early in the morning. If it doesn't, though, I am not too worried. Tomorrow, after all, is my final contractual day at Passport and I do have some paperwork and everything to sign.

Have a great Thursday night, everyone! The weekend (and November) is nearly here. One more work day!

Sounds like you guys had a fun night!!!!

Hope you get a call in the morning and that you get a lot of kids tomorrow night!!!! Enjoy the party too!!!

Goodnight!!!

Thanks, friend! I hope we don't walk around much after the party! It's going to be cold outside and my costume isn't the warmest! Oh well. It's only one night! Have a good night!!

Thanks, Stacey! I am hoping so, too. Kim loves the movies too. I am not a fan. I've never really enjoyed any "scary" movie. They're just not my "thing." I'm glad she likes them, though! She gets to enjoy all her Halloween movies at this time, then we make the big switch to Christmas movies!!!

It is awesome! Can't wait to see Hallmark switch over tomorrow!
Tell Kim I say hi, and that I'm loving the Michael Myer's marathon too =]

Hello all!

I don't have time to spend on here but Seawaters just got in touch with me to ask me to post on her behalf regarding her son, Joshua. Seawaters just had an infusion done yesterday and not feeling real well. She also has a lot to do in case she needs to travel to see him.

Copy/Paste from her message:

Joshua will be undergoing surgery at 3:30 pm for a perforated bowel. The nurse said that Joshua's white blood cell count was low and that he would get worse before he got better, but that he was a very sick boy.

Please pray for Joshua, Seawaters and her family.
Thanks!!!

I will be back on tomorrow to catch up with everyone.

I will be keeping them in my thoughts and prayers ~

We just had snow/hail for about 2 minutes! I could hear something hitting the windows! It has stopped but the snow is moving south. Wow. [emoji301]️

Woohoo!!! Sweet!!!

I hope we get some flurries tomorrow but I don't want any accumulation yet!!!

Good evening!
Fun day at the preschool, I loved seeing the kids in their costumes and the Halloween party was great. I get to do it all over again tomorrow with the M/W/F kids. Oh and my ladybug costume was a hit. I broke in to a bag of candy earlier, I've been eating Sour Patch Kids all night. I bought so much candy, I hope we get a lot of trick or treaters tomorrow. Otherwise I'll be eating all of the leftovers, I have no will power!
I hope everyone had a nice day, enjoy the rest of the evening. Goodnight!

Goodnight, HMG!!!!!

Just thought I'd check in and say hello and hope everyone is doing well. Miss you all and hope you have a great Halloween. To me it always marked the start of the season.

Have a great one!

Great to see you!!! Happy Halloween to you!!

Good morning, everyone!

Halloween Eve is upon us. Devil's Night should play quite the tricks tonight, too! As for the morning, it has been nice, sunny, and chilly in (and just outside of) Canada's Capital.

After not receiving a teaching call prior to yesterday and then not having a single call from the usual 5-7pm, I thought that I could be spending my Thursday at Passport. Thankfully, I had a call at just before 9:30pm. I have already had one class. I am currently on my prep period and have two more classes to teach. Fortunately, today, there is also an assembly. Excellent!

I hope you are all recovered from the 'Pines yesterday. What a spectacular showing by Carl! That camel just continues to out-do himself. His "haunted wing" was spooky! I was especially frightened when I was attacked by a fired twinkie! It's sad to see that Halloween will no longer be in Carl's theme for this year. Who knows what he will be up to next week?!

Two weeks from today, we will all be rejoicing in the arrival of our favourite Season. Magical. Christmas decorations will soon be everywhere, and Christmas commercials will soon fill out television screens. Has anyone seen one yet? I bet that my first would appear on October 28th, but nothing yet. I've seen plenty of winter commercials with a Christmas-y feel, but nothing else. I can recall a few years seeing Christmas commercials as early as mid-October. It appears that companies are being a little too conservative with it now. Oh well, I'll just have to wait and watch... It could also be that I don't watch a whole lot of TV...

The weekend is almost here. It feels great to see that Friday is only a day away. Until then, have a great Thursday, everyone!

I have seen 2 Christmas commercials so far, one for Planter's peanuts and one for Best Buy. I can't wait to the mainstay of the Holidays. The Hershey Kiss Bells.

(Can't find the Best Buy one on Youtube)

Both of my bosses just left ~ their Mom is not doing well at all. She is in the nursing home & it sounds like the end is near. She was my neighbor lady across the street growing up. Sweet, sweet lady. Makes me sad. She is in her early 90's ~ she's had a great life, but always hard to see them go!

I will keep them in my thoughts.

I wasn't gone that long and come back to pages of post! Busy busy! Lol!

I read through everything but don't have time to reply to all.

Seriously thinking about getting a few Christmas village pieces out today and start setting up. There is so much of it and it takes a lot of time getting it all out. It would be nice to get a head start so I can have the house fully decorated the first week of November!!!

Have a Merry Day all!!!

I hope you did it, I am planning to start on Sunday.

We still haven't watched Good Ol' Chuck yet, maybe tomorrow night as we wind down from our Halloween festivities. I watched most of the Bruins game tonight, glad to see them get the win, and have a positive Brad Marchand sighting. cheesy

Good evening,

I should be asleep by now, I have to be in to work for 6am tomorrow, to get out early for the kids to go Trick or Treating.

We went and visited my grandfather tonight, it was very surreal being in the house I spent part of my youth in without my grandma being there. My grandfather has sold the house, so tomorrow when we bring the kids down to see him it will most likely be the last time for us in that house. Very sad.

We have a busy day and evening ahead of us tomorrow, I will try to pop in to say hi.

I hope you all had a good day today.

Good night, everyone.
