I see it's been released in the news now so I should be safe to tell you all that Shaylee, my BIL's niece, was taken off of life support and passed earlier this evening.

Made, I'm so sorry. I can't even find the words. So senseless. I'm thinking of you, friend.

Your family will be in my prayers.

November 1 has arrived and so has the freezing temps. We sit here at 31 degrees. I had to put my slippers on this morning. LOL, I sound like an old man talking about my "slippers."

Big day today at the Ballcoach household. It's Christmas Tree Day! Little Bambina will get to see us put up the tree. This time last year, she couldn't really interact with any of it, so this will be fun. We also have a baby gate that we are going to put around the tree. I don't know how much I will like that, but I feel a need to protect the tree from Ballcoach's little mean spawn. She is into everything. She can say a few words. Her favorite.....

Bad Dada. Bad dada. Bad dada.

It's kinda funny.

And it comes with a whole new set of count numbers:

Chilly here yesterday but nothing compared to what the next couple of days will bring.
It will really feel like the rest of Autumn has been skipped and we have gone straight to winter!
We have started off this weekend at 46 degrees.

Good Morning All !!!! Boy has the temps changed. But I love it. SO another change in my schedule at work. I was training to be 3rd assistant manager, well the 2nd assistant went MIA for 5 days then sent a text and quit. So now I'm training to open and take her place. The catch is training just went into high speed. I need to get 5 weeks of training done in 2 weeks. Maybe a little stressful but it will get done.

On a happier ( and less stressful ) note, I now have tomm off......so time to put up some trees:wiggy::wiggy:

Can't wait. Well better go one last close tonight. Better get some coffee in me

Happy November, MMC!!!!!! November?? Where has the year gone?? I'm scared to think of how fast Christmas is going to get here. It's a cold morning here in central Indy where we currently stand at 30 degree's on our way to a high of 41. Brr!!! Time to break out the wool socks and sweaters!!!! Lots of running today. I have a few errands this morning and then this afternoon I have to take mom to see a Doctor in a town about an hour away. She is being sent there by Social Security Disability for a physical exam. So hopefully he agree's that it's going to be impossible for her to ever really work again with the weakness she has from all of the strokes and the fact that she keeps having them. Then Tuesday she has to go see another doctor for them to get a mental and psychological exam. By the time we get back from there this afternoon, it will be time to just kick back and enjoy Hallmark for the rest of the evening. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Merry November!!!

We had a lot of fun last night. My daughter, son-in-law and the kids all went Trick or Treating then they treated me to dinner afterward. We went to an all you can eat pizza place. I can't eat pizza due to food allergies, instead loaded up on lots of salad. I miss pizza!!! Then my daughter was telling me about one type they had that is so tasty and I was saying, "yummy". She said, "I'm sorry mom, I am torturing you, never mind, this pizza is terrible"!!! Ha ha! Then they thought maybe they were being rude taking me there but I said I was fine!!! I just wanted to be with family and don't care where we go. It's not like I wouldn't have restrictions at any other restaurant! Except for the vegetarian restaurant we go to a lot but the kids are not crazy for that one and it's a little pricey.

All the Halloween coffee mugs were packed away yesterday and I got all my Christmas mugs out. Just drinking coffee in my festive mug and surround by my doggies and kitties on the couch while watching Hallmark Christmas movies!!!

Glad you guys had fun last night!!!!! Hope you have fun today watching Hallmark!!!!

Merry Saturday!

I really hope you all had a wonderful,safe Halloween. I will admit I felt a little deflated this morning when I woke up. It's over now for another year. it reminds me how quickly time is going and how fast my kids are growing! We had a really good evening. The weather was perfect for trick or treating. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and seeing all the lit houses and pumpkins. It was dry and 18C!!! This is summer temps for us and I can't believe it was so warm. It's cold today though, seems to be dropping back down a lot!

Anyway, once I came downstairs and turned on Christmas24 my mood got a lot better because now it is all about Christmas. We have waited so long to get here and now we can begin enjoying the season. I have been watching Christmas movies all day lol !

Happy November all. I hope it will be a cheerful one for all of us!:notice:
