The other good news is that I have a vacation day coming next Friday, and a few in December. I'll be busy at home with "Christmas work," but it'll be good with some music and movies in the background.

I hope your daughters don't have to go in to early!!! I swear I want to run for president in 2016 just so I can make it illegal for stores to be open on Thanksgiving and Christmas!!! Oh and so I can take Air Force one to visit all of you!!!

I read somewhere it's going to be "Black Thursday" instead of "Black Friday" - as my Dad would say "what a bunch of hooey!" One more day left in the workweek, although to me it seems as if it never really started! I had a great day teaching yesterday, and I only have a half day today. It is a little surprising, but I guess it's about right. After all, report cards were just given out about a week ago. Usually teachers don't need sick days right after report cards. Hopefully they will need a few more after this week! I am expecting at least four days next week. I already have two booked.

It's a little chilly and windy this morning in Ottawa. Temperatures with windchill are a little below freezing. I've heard rumours that there was snow outside the city. In Ottawa, however, we did not receive any. We could see some mixed precipitation tonight, and they are forecasting for snow on Sunday. Interesting! I was really hoping to wait for the winter tires, but perhaps I should put them on by next Tuesday?

Well, I think it is time to start getting ready. A week from today, we will be in the second day of the Christmas Season! Wow. Enjoy your Friday, everyone! The weekend will soon be here.

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's a chilly morning out there and the high today isn't going to be much better. We should only top out around 44 this afternoon. At least it's not raining like yesterday. I've spent the morning running some errands and going to the grocery store. I spent way to much money there too. Oh well though. We have been living off of the pantry and it was getting pretty empty. So I had to restock on the basic things. Now I've got to put it all up. I wanted to stop in here first though. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks to everyone for your prayers for my wife. We still don't know much. They are doing more blood test. If it is Lupus, the Dr doesn't feel it is severe at this point.

Good afternoon everyone! It's quite hard to believe but it's another beautiful and sunny day here. Amazing!

I decided to tidy up the flat a little bit before I continue working on the essay. I find it hard to concentrate when there is too much mess around.
I also hope to get my friend on 'Skype' tonight. Well, at least we agreed on that but it haven't worked out before so we'll see how it goes this evening.

After work yesterday I was getting ready to get my hair cut/colored when I hear Gracie FLLLYING down the steps. I thought "What is she doing??" I walk out into the TV room & there she is with this hat in her mouth doing like dogs do "KILLING IT!!!" CRACKED me up! I had to take a pic & send it to Jim before I chased her all over the house trying to get it from her....YEP, she's a BROWNS fan!!!



It was just too funny that of all days, she chose "The Battle of Ohio" to steal his hat - she has never messed with it before. Love that girl!!!

My cousins from Florida & Pittsburgh are coming into town today. The Pitt peeps are staying til Sunday & Florida til Monday. Will be nice to see them again. We have a get together at my brothers tomorrow night with my other cousins & my family! Fun stuff. Tomorrow morning I'm going with the lake ladies to Christmas open houses in a quaint town about 45 min from here. I'm pretty excited about that!!!! AND today is furniture day! It should be delivered somewhere between 2-3:00! YAY!!! I need to figure out what I'm going to bring to my brothers party & find a time when I'm going to make it yet too... EEK! Lol!
