I like to randomly look at posts from this past year and stumbled on this one.

Nice to see you, CoJack!
Merry Christmas!

One section of my special post is on my home computer. We will be home tomorrow, and I will finish it ASAP. Please forgive my tardiness.

No worries~
Thinking of you, friend. Prayers! <3

Got scared, I got booted to the page with the blonde in the Santa style suit. cheesy 22 to go

Victor the Wonder Dog is wondering why I'm tapping on my ipad instead of petting him. There's a 40 pound dog in my lap, staring at me, and he just doesn't understand how important this countdown is.

Aww, so sweet!

:sparkle:

After having a not so great of a day, it was heart-warming to spend this past hour counting down to The Season with all of you! Thank you so much!

Sorry to hear that you had a tough day.
Keeping you in my thoughts & prayers. Sending hugs & lots of love!

Well, there you have it, my dear Friends. The long journey is complete.
Christmas Season 2014 has arrived right on schedule and in style, thanks to the talents of our Special Posters and last night's fantastic Cyber Season party.
(Wasn't that great!)

But, the count goes on!
Days to Thanksgiving: 14 (TWO Weeks from today!)
Days to Christmas Day: 42 (Seven weeks from this date!)

Yes, Folks, the Season has DEPTH.
Fifty days to enjoy, starting today and running through January 1.
So this is not the end, it is the begining!

A personal note:

As my past becomes longer than my future, I look more sentimentally at Christmas and its wonderful feeling.
I look for it in the music and the holiday decorations.
I search for it in written passages.
I seek it in the faces of my remaining loves ones.
And I yearn for an articulate way to express it.
Not easy.
As such, I am posting this link:

Us oldsters remember the old Honeymooners television series.
In my effort to find the best description of the feeling of the Christmas Season, I don't believe I've come across a better one than that expressed by Jackie Gleason's character Ralph Kramden. It it, he sums it all up beautifully.
I urge you to watch this fine Christmas 1955 episode but if time does not permit, skip ahead in the video to 23:10. This is where Ralph wonderfully states how he feels about Christmas to his wife, Alice.

Have a really Thoroughly Thrilling Thursday, a Merry Christmas, and a Stupendous Start to Christmas Season 2014, my fine fellow travelers!

Good Morning MMC !

We had so much fun here last night bringing in the 2014 Christmas season ! Had a moment of panic , well about 10 min of it, when everything crashed and could not get on for awhile. Finally made it back on with 6 min left in the countdown.
Love spending time with all you special people , thanks for all you do !

A wonderful video, Crown. I will watch the entire show momentarily. I did, however, skip ahead to 23:10 to hear Ralph state how he feels about Christmas. It really makes you think that Jackie felt the same way about it as Ralph. Even after the show was over, he felt the need to step out of character. A truly touching moment in television history. Christmas just makes does that to many of us, doesn't it? Thank you for sharing.

Good morning, everyone!

Welcome to the first day of the Christmas Season! Sounds fantastic, doesn't it? Again, I had a wonderful time last night counting down in real time with some of my best friends. I don't know what made me smile more - the fact that the Christmas Season was a few hours, minutes, and seconds away, or the lovely banter and comedic timing amongst some of the posts. I use this word a lot, but I truly feel as if it best suits the Christmas Season for me. Prior to coming here, the Season always warmed my heart and brought a big smile to my face. Christmas made me appreciate the love and generousity that I have been surrounded by my entire life. Since coming here, Christmas has truly become "magical." There is no other words to describe. We all believe in the magic of Christmas and do our best to celebrate year-round, but when the time comes (today), we, indeed, make it the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.

In continuation, last night, I saw my first set of Christmas lights lit up on my drive home from the gym. As always, it made me smile, but I also thought of my grandmother who passed this year. For the rest of the short ride home, I shed a tear and marvelled in her accomplishments. This will be the first time in 101 Christmases that she will not be walking this earth. She may not have had the same love and appreciation for the Season as you or I, but to celebrate 100 Christmases is an incredible feat. While she may not be walking this earth, I'm sure that she will be around and helping me throughout the Season.

No work today, sadly. I am booked for tomorrow. Tonight, I will be seeing one of my favourite bands for the 27th time. Normally, I only listen to Christmas music as soon as the Season begins. I will have to make an exception tonight for these guys. I will be attending the concert with my friend Sean. He lives in Ottawa, too, but we went to high school together back in the Sault, although he is a few years older than me. We are both quite excited for the concert!

Well, I hope you all have a wonderful first day of the Christmas Season!!! We've been waiting all year for it to begin, so be sure to cherish it while it is here! Only 42 days remain until Christmas! Have a great Thursday, everyone!!

Merry Christmas!
