Hee hee!! I had "Sounds of the Season" on all night ~ and a pine candle burning too...and yes she made a comment that it was not appropriate! Bah ha ha ha! I love her dearly, but we agree to disagree...or at least I do...not sure about her! cheesy The rest of us enjoyed it completely!

You don't have to eat the candy corn! cheesy

I've said it before, candy corn is the fruitcake of Halloween. cheesy

Nice touch on the Sounds of the Season, my bro in law is one of those can't listen to anything Christmas until after Thanksgiving. His head nearly exploded when I told him I listen to at least one Christmas song everyday. cheesy

:-P I discovered where all that music was coming from on my thumb drive. I had forgotten that I downloaded the music from my computer at work because I was switching office computers and didn't want to lose my music - I didn't even realize it was all still on there because in the end I wound up keeping the tower and just got a new monitor instead. Nothing was sorted on the thumb drive - it came out in alphabetical order instead of in genre folders and such.

BCMS was over by the time I hit Waniapitei and then I was entertained with Pandora Records "Santa's Toy Shop' from a way back when.

If I drove long enough I eventually would have heard RJD's Melton Mistletoe Mix from 2007, etc.

Mystery solved.

The song that carried me into the fuel bar to gas up before returning the rental was Rush's Tom Sawyer - so it was an odd musical journey.

Mr. O'Cat seemed to miss me and I wasn't gone very long - he's sleeping beside me right now - guessing he wants to make sure I don't forget to toss him a few of his grain free treats before bed.

:hi: Enjoy your evening - tomorrow I'm off to do some Christmas shopping for the grand children and pick up my mom's ***** cat shirt - their software got all wonky so that caused a delay. Good thing I started that little merry project so early.

Keep a merry thought in your head!

Have fun with shopping tomorrow and I'm glad to hear you figured out the music mystery!!

Hello everyone. I hope you all are doing great!

Hey Ryan!!!!!! I hope you are doing great as well!!!!!!

Thank you! The surgeon saw him for a follow-up yesterday, and the eye is doing well. We're both relieved.

You are so right. A day doesn't pass that I don't think about the people here, even if I'm too busy or rushed to come by an reply to everyone.

Thank you!

WHAT!?!
I'm sure you'll like it. The screenwriter took some liberties and didn't stick exactly to Dickens, but it works. And Sim's portrayal is magnificent. I love the musical score. I bought a CD that has an orchestral suite woven from the themes in the movie.

Trivia: Noel Langley, the screenwriter, was also one of the principal writers on the screenplay of M-G-M's "The Wizard of Oz."

I was a late bloomer on the older Christmas movies, I saw It's A Wonderful life for the first time 15 years ago, Miracle On 34th Street about 8 years ago. Still playing catch up. cheesy

Hi Everyone! Sorry for not being around much the last 2 weeks, but Santa recently gave me a present of an opportunity that for a Christmas enthusiast and vintage item collector I had to capitalize on right away!. A well established antique store that is owned by a friend of Joan and I's offered us the opportunity to open a 2nd location in a very high traffic area and I was aboard immediately! In the last two weeks I have sorted through, researched, priced and transported thousands of vintage Christmas items, my 2 car garage is now a warehouse for the store, and our store is up and running!

Some pics of my journey into a dream come true! Current storefront

We are expanding into a larger spot first week of December too! Good thing too, because my garage is overflowing with still yet to be sorted Christmas and vintage treasures!

Anyway just had to share this incredible project that I have been taking on the last 2 weeks! I hope everyone is in great spirits and doing great on this week before Thanksgiving!!

Congratulations!!!

Good day all! Here it is Friday already and I'm feeling like this is my first real chance to get on-line here to say hi! I'm about to the halfway point for the cable to be ran to my house, the contractors were there this week and got all of the main line ran underground. hopefully we will get it installed and all hooked up before Christmas.

In the meantime, let me show you my (2) two new additions to my Blowmold ensemble that I have. These are compliments of Bronners! Yes, I ordered them all the way from Maryland. And here they are....

I'm like seriously loving them! I can't wait to get them outside and hooked up!

We also went out this week and got Zack a new car. We co-signed for the loan, gave him some money to boost what he had saved himself, and he will be responsible to make the payments every month. We got him a Subaru WRX. The Chevy Cobalt that he has been driving, has been plagued with continuous problems and recalls, we felt it was no longer safe to drive/ reliable.

Other than that, I'm just stoked that it is getting to be so close to Thanksgiving and the Christmas season....I'm playing Christmas music almost every day now and I'm itching to start decorating.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Love the blow molds!!!

That sounds like us when we got rid of our Saturn, too many problems, and the recalls scared us too much to keep it on the road.

Good evening,

Another day closer to Thanksgiving, another day closer to the end of turkey-geddon. My store manager asked me how I am doing today and I told her "miserable." She was stunned I said that, I told her it was like this every year by this time I am hurting from head to toe, and I just want this over. Come to find out, one of my employees said the same thing (miserable) when she asked how she was doing earlier.
This weekend is our "Super Bowl" the final push is here, so it is time to use every last bit of energy I have left.

I hope you all had a great day.

Talk to you tomorrow.

Good night, everyone.

I was only teasing. I only just discovered The Bishop's Wife a few years ago. Still kicking myself for missing it for so many years! But then again, there's that wonderful feeling when you discover a new favorite.

Turtle is doing well, he is a great dog.

Glad to hear it! [emoji173]️
Give him a hug for us.

Thanksgiving Break has arrived! One week of no school...

I'm going to have a great week and we kick it off tomorrow. I'm about to go sit down and work on our menu for the next week. Tomorrow, we will go buy groceries, do a little Christmas shopping, and go eat. It is a big tradition for Doc and me. Sunday, I will finish decorating the inside of the house and put the lights up outside. Monday...it will be time to start cooking.

I.

Can't.

Wait.

Good evening! Another crazy busy day but I got a lot done so I'm happy. I'm very sleepy so I'll catch up here tomorrow. I hope everyone had a nice day, goodnight!
