I prefer watching the first Home Alone, but in the second one, I liked the bird woman. She reminded me of "Tuppens a bag" from Mary Poppins who sang, "Feed the birds..."

I love both Home Alone & Home Alone 2: Lost In New York.
Both have endearing characters!

My Grandma Marie loved Home Alone, and we used to watch it together [emoji173]️ It has an extra special place in my heart.

:!! Once upon a time, I was asked to share this after the Christmas season ended. I think there are a few merry chums who might like to read it again.

Auntie's 5 Ways to Get over the Christmas Blues

1. Think ALIVE - A-Appreciated, L-Loved, I-Idea-Orientated, V-Valuable Contributor, E-Encouraged to Visit Again.

2. Stop, be calm - remember the festivities - read a Christmas story or recall in solitude highlights of Christmas past and think about Christmas future.

3. Visit Christmas forums and celebrate your love for the holidays with people who understand your feelings.

4. Cultivate playfulness and positive self-talk - sing your favourite tunes or play them, imagine it "as if it still is".

5. Smile broadly while you post - nothing warms the hearts of others quite the same - you’ll feel better too. Trust me, your merry enthusiasm can jump off the page.

A late, late Sunday hello … :-)

I actually posted about two hours earlier, and I swear I saw the posts, but before the session ended, they disappeared, along with a PM I sent … weird.

I spent most of today finishing a Christmas audio project. I still have some audio to work on, but not today. It's couch time. cheesy

Thinking of all of you as Thanksgiving approaches. It looks like another crazy week at the office, in spite of its being a short week. I know I will be thankful for the long weekend, even though I'll be busy with Christmas work at home!

Hope work isn't to bad this week!!! Enjoy what's left of your weekend, MerryCarey!!!!

Has anyone heard from Christmas-A-Holic? I'm worried.

We have messaged on FB, and she is doing ok, but has been busy. I know that she & her grand kids were under the weather for a bit, as well.

I will let her know again how much she is missed!

Good evening, friends~

We are watching Home Alone & enjoying our Christmas tree [emoji319]

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday night!

I occasionally have similar things happen to my posts. Frustrating and glad it does not happen to often.
Nice to get a project done after hours of work !
I do not have to be back at work until Tuesday although they would like me to come in on Monday, but I want to get over this cold first.
I have not heard from CAH either, but sure all is well there.

Love this!!! Thanks for sharing Auntie!!!

Good morning, everyone! I wanted to stop in and say hi! It's been a crazy couple of days at my house - my kids have been sick with cold, fevers, and such, they're both still not feeling 100%, but they'll get there.

We've also been doing a lot of things to keep busy - a lot of things at school, things for Thanksgiving, baton, decorating for Christmas, rode the Santa train yesterday, and we have a Christmas parade today, for EA to march in today.

Needless to say, I haven't had much time to check in. Hope all is well with you! I've been thinking about all of you and keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers! Hope you're all having a great weekend!

I hope the kids are feeling better.

Good morning!
My oldest daughter turns 21 today. Can't believe it, the years have gone by so fast. She's such a doll and I'm so blessed to have her. She went out last night with her sisters and a group of friends to celebrate. Today will be a family day, we'll be going out to dinner and then back home for birthday cake.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Happy birthday to your daughter!!!

Hope everyone is well and looking forward to your Thanksgiving week in the US.

I'm sorry I haven't been around much. It's just been an awful year to be honest. This past Monday my aunt passed away. She was also my Godmother and lived up to that in every way possible every day of my life. She is the only person in both our families besides my parents who never forgot my son's birthday or our anniversary. Ever.

This past July she was under hospice care, young, but she had a rare form of cancer that doctors are not familiar with in terms of treatment, none the less, her hospice nurse advised her not to try and go out, but she managed to make it to the store just to make sure Noah received an 18th birthday card from her.

She was just everything to me. One of the only people in my life who ever made me feel like I was good enough, as is. She taught me to bake all of our traditional family Christmas cookies, cakes and decorate the house over, filling it with love and joy at Christmas. She dedicated all of her time and effort to care for the homeless and women's domestic violence centers.

I can't even wrap my head around the fact that she won't be present this Christmas. Or that I'll never again receive a Christmas card the last week of November with a $20 check for cookie money, that I never cash and ends up part of the card box that I keep her cards in. I never could bring myself to cash her checks after she went on disability due to the surgeries.

My son isn't well, nor is our business and I feel disconnected from everything at this time. So I apologize for my lack of participation - but like a sick dog , I tend to keep to myself when things are down. I just felt an explanation was warranted, because I love this board and all of you.

Hoping to find some Christmas Spirit to renew things.

I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts.

kid´s tv is off.....now it´s something like America´s funniest videos.....actually most of the vids we see are from the States.....I just love watching these type of shows.....does it make me a bad person to laugh about other peoples bloopers?

Nope!!!! cheesy

They are the ones dumb enough to send them in for everyone to laugh at.

I know it's not a Christmas movie, but I sure do love watching The Wizard of Oz....brings back a lot of memories.

I do, too!
My grandpa was the only one who could protect me from the wicked witch, so I would always sleep over when it aired.

That was always such a big event when I was growing up, when it was on TV once a year. Almost as big as Rudolph or Charlie Brown Christmas.
