Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Didn't see much of the Macy's Parade this morning---I slept in, then had to shovel snow/sleet from yesterday, and I was multi-tasking by writing my Christmas cards at the same time. But I saw most of the last hour (including SANTA!) and some great Christmas commercials, including a Coca-Cola commercial that used Jimmy Durante in the soundtrack.

(End of an era, though---Milton DeLugg is no longer the musical director … I miss his music cues.)

Gotta run out into the kitchen and finish up and get dinner on the table! My tummy's growling for it!

back from shopping, did not find a dress so settled for an extra special top to go with a pair of dress pants instead.
It is snowing here even though prediction was for no snow today. But it does look nice !

We've had flurries all day even though it was supposed to miss us. It was sticking for awhile but it finally warmed up enough to melt everything.

Stripey and Spike had a Big fight today...Stripey was so ****ed about that that she peed underneath the bed....I dried it and Mopped the floor...then showered Stripey...her First Bath ever....no hissing or fighting...just pray they will call down again

Lots of thanks, lots of food, lots of family...Thanksgiving was great but we've set up the Christmas tree and are now setting up various other Christmas items. 80 chocolate chip cookies just tracked of from the oven. The guy on the corner has his yard display of various blow molds up and lit.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone...and a Merry Christmas to you all. And for those who don't have Thanksgiving...a very happy day to you as well. Truth be known, this is the time i seen to remember anticipating the Weinachtsmarkt or Christkindlmarkt in Germany and Austria when i was younger...I really miss those.

I gobbled until I wobbled, had an absolutely great meal, visited with family and had fun.

I am so glad I don't have to go in for the craziness tonight, I was able to actually enjoy my Thanksgiving day for a change.

I will have a good night sleep before going in for a 7-3 shift before my weekend off.
