Hey. Barely over 3 1/2 weeks left, now. Better get crackin' on those holiday plans!

Wow. Can this really be the 18th day of Christmas Season 2014 already?
Seems like we were just celebrating the Season's arrival.
I hope everyone is enjoying themselves so far.


A bit warmer here yesterday but still too coolish for my blood.
Today, and particularly tomorrow, should be much nicer.
This fine last Thanksgiving weekend day has commenced at a chilly 35 degrees here in the capital city.

Oh yeah I got it on October 1st, so I am hopeful I will be okay...one year like in 2001 I got the flu after I had the shot! , but that is rather the exception than the rule!

My tree is going up today. It will be Sophie's first Christmas, can't wait to see how she reacts. There's nothing like a rambunctious little kitten and a Christmas tree!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's supposed to be a rainy wet sunday here but we should reach 60 degree's later this afternoon. WooHoo!!! I have a few things to do around the apartment this morning and then this afternoon I think I'm going to head out to my sister's house to get her Christmas stuff out of the attic and help her set up my tree. Then my niece's can help her decorate it tonight when they get home from my BIL's. Hopefully I'll be able to watch some football sometime in there too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

It will be great to sleep in my own bed tonight!

Bout to leave to take My ma in law and pa in law to the airport...Traffic should be okay at this early hour and heaven knows there is no ice to contend with thank goodness...it was so good seeing family and it's kind of sad for it too end. My mom is coming for Christmas this year and I simply can't wait for her to come it's been almost a year since Ive seen her! well I will check back in with you all when I get back home this morning! Have a great early morning!

Hope you have a safe drive to the airport and that everyone has a safe trip home today!!!!

Good morning! I hope everyone had a GREAT Thanksgiving! We did .. it was filled with family, laughs, great food, the parade on TV and LOTs of Football!!! Got a lot of shopping done over this extended weekend and we are almost done decorating. The outside is way more simple than what we are used to doing but we lost 2 inflatables and more than half the lights are out on 2 of our reindeer and 3 trees. It still looks nice though. Going to make up the difference by decorating more INSIDE

Heading out later today with my mom to do more shopping then back home to finish decorating. Have a great day!!!!

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

I've had a busy weekend, both as husband/father/son, and as mayor.

We had a bonfire Friday night for the football team of the local school. They had a state championship game last night (haven't heard the final score), and I was there to represent the city. Pinewood Christian Academy is here in Bellville, so we have banners all over town supporting them.

Saturday was spent putting up city Christmas decorations, taking down personal fall decorations, and cutting my yard. Then we went to a Christmas lights-lighting party at Bernie's brother's house.

Busy, busy, busy!
