Good Morning MMC !!!

Watching "Defending Santa" while enjoying a bacon and egg sandwich and a glass of eggnog.

This was after putting a pot of snert and it is smelling great in here. Getting my living room back in shape now that all my daughters things are moved out. Also have a box of things to drop at thrift store. Then work calls and wants me to come in, I turned them down because I have a lot to do today.

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's going to be a chilly one here with a high in the mid 30's. I was going to run some errands this morning but some freezing rain developed and took the road crews by surprise. There are accident's everywhere and the interstates are at a standstill. So I think I will just stay home and do some more work around the house. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

I hope the roads are cleared by now! I was shocked to see white stuff swirling around on the roads & sidewalks this morning. That wasn't called for!! Stay safe & warm!!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I was planning to take mom to a doctor's appointment today, but my cousin offered, so I'm at work again. I can't even call mom while she's in Jacksonville. She was rake and burning leaves yesterday afternoon and dropped her cell phone in the fire! It's a crispy plastic ball now. Luckily, she's on Straight Talk, so Nancy picked her up a replacement hone at Wal-Mart last night, but she's lost all her contacts. Oh well.

The kids have started their letters to Santa (LOL!), and the older they get, the more expensive their requests are. Geez! Whatever happened to Lincoln Logs and Tinker Toys?!?

Good morning, everyone!

It is a frigid morning in Ottawa. After saying that we had some above seasonable temperatures last night just around the freezing mark, I awoke to a massive chill this morning. Temperatures are around -16c/4f (-20c/-4f). Brrr! The forecast sates that it will only be around for a day though. Back to near 0c/33f tomorrow.

I'm teaching at Russell again today. It should be an easier day than yesterday - less busy - but we will see how it goes! Last night was a good evening. It was nice to come home and relax. Tonight might be much of the same. We'll see if Kim has anything planned.

I hope you all have been enjoying your Tuesday thus far. December 2nd is a great day to put on plenty Christmas music and a few Christmas movies. We've probably watched about 10, and still have two of our favourites - Elf and The Muppet Christmas Carol - still remaining in the vault. Trapped In Paradise was our choice on Saturday night. It really is one of my favourite and underrated films.

Happy Tuesday all. The Christmas season is flying by. Sitting at my desk listening to Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, & Frank Sinatra Christmas songs.

The weather is taking away some of the Christmas feeling. Temps are much too warm. Our forecast high today in 58. Above normal temps are forecast for next 7-10 days.

Hey all, hope you are all good. Just wanted to pop by and say hey. Sorry I am behind on posts. Things are busy these days.

The days are going far to quickly for my liking!! Anyway I am off this week. I always save most of my vacation days for this time of year lol.

It is almost 4pm here and night is falling. I am going to make dinner and sort the children out! Then it's a Christmas movie and maybe some online shopping.

I'm finally caught up here & it's about time to go home! cheesy

Tonight I'm heading to my Mom/Dads, along with my sisters & we're going to decorate for Christmas & then watch a Christmas movie. I will have to tell them Charlie Brown is on!! :grin: My friend who runs the American Legion bar is going to pop us a big bag of popcorn for our movie. (they have the best) Popcorn supper for me!!!

Hi everyone. I'm still struggling with trying to get here on-line, with having no Internet at the house. However, good news, after 10 weeks of waiting, we were given notice that they can install it, this coming Saturday.....

I'm a little behind in my schedule of sending out Christmas cards, shopping exchanges, etc... but plan to kick it into full gear this weekend...

So, hopefully, I will get the ornament exchange, Christmas card exchange, personal Christmas cards out and start doing some decorating and shopping this weekend. Whoo-hoo!!!! Give giving me coffee!!!

I hope everyone is doing well, miss being here on a regular basis, but, plan on being here more regularly very soon....:-D

Thanksgiving went well Holiday, thank you so much. I almost cried when my husband took the scaffold down because I was so happy, that thing was up for almost two years. The kitchen is the heart of the home as far I'm conerned, it was really hard for me to deal with the construction for that long. So glad it's behind us now.
