Christmas Countdown - 2014

the eggnog is made, the turkey is thawing, work is done and everyone is home.

It is pouring rain, a wind storm on the way by morning, not going to be nice.

Monica and her 3 month baby Piper are in the hospital with pneumonia, we were hopeful they would be out for Christmas, but baby not doing well. Please keep them in your prayers.

Watching the Grinch and when done putting on A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim.

we just had a nice surprise, the church next door dropped off a goody bag for us with candy, popcorn and hot chocolate in it. So sweet of them to come out in the pouring rain to spread some Christmas joy !

Merry Christmas Eve, my Christmas friends!

It's a weird Christmas this year with Nancy's mom still in the hospital. After I left work yesterday, I became very ill with fever, chills, etc. I missed my office party, but I just couldn't go. The doctor agreed to see me this morning and told me I have bronchitis.

A bag full of drugs and two shots in the hiney (ouch!), and I'm feeling a bit better. As long as it can get me through Santa's visit tonight, I'll be fine.

It's been a soggy week, and there was a tornado watch today, but things have calmed down. Nancy's on her way home from visiting her mom, and I have an 18# ham in the fridge that Bernie cooked for me at the store. I'm ready!

I hope y'all have a wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas day! cheesy

Good evening, friends! This will may be the last time I get to say hi, before Christmas. DH and I are listening to Kringle Radio and we're having fun tracking Santa as well!

The kids had a blast this evening - after mass, we had pizza, then they opened up their Christmas box. They received Polar Express as their new movie and they got a boxed set of Christmas books. DH read them "The Night Before Christmas".

I just now have to write the letter from Santa and also from Elfie, their Elf, since he will be heading back to the North Pole with Santa tonight.
