Moving slow today, woke up with a headache. So happy I didn't have to go in to work. But I do have to get moving soon. I have a couple of errands that can not wait and the dogs have a groomer appointment this afternoon. I'll pop back in at some point. I hope everyone has a nice day!

Friends, I hope you are all warm and cozy! Those of you in the really bad weather, I'm thinking and praying.

Yesterday was a great day. Doc was released to go back to work after the scare and is off bedrest. Also, they checked the gender on this ultrasound.

It is a girl....

Our doctor could see the emotion and the happiness in my face...I was so caught up in the moment. I have turned into a big softie since Bambina was born. S

She gave me a poem....I will keep it with me forever....

"The deepest love that is known to man is one that is sure to last,
it’s one that is unconditional to any time that has passed.
Like a diamond is forever and much more precious than a pearl,
the love that a father has for Daddy’s little girls."

My heart is full. Words can't begin to describe how happy I am.

It was good to get to spend some time on here yesterday, I can't remember when last I got the chance to do that. It would have been my father's birthday yesterday so it was nice to spend some time here and take my mind of things.

Cold, wet, windy and approaching storm - nothing new here. It's winter after all.

Haha...well I guess there's not a huge difference between -8 and -9. When you start adding the minus sign before your temp, it's just too dang cold!

It's a half day at school. Not bad. It's good to be back. I wish it were a full day, but I am a little under the weather, so hopefully I can take a little nap this afternoon before heading to the gym.

We're nearly a week removed from New Years and two from Christmas Day. Wow! Wait. That makes today the first 'Pines Day of 2015! I can't wait to see what Carl has in store for tonight.

Well, I don't have a whole lot of time. I'll have to catch up with you all tonight as we venture to our midweek hangout spot. Hope you're having a great Wednesday!
