And if there is anything we can count on, it is the relentless arrival of the new daily numbers ---- declining ---- ever declining.

Presented for your approval:
Days to the Season: 303
Days to Christmas Day: 345

And just that quickly, we find ourselves down to less than half a week away from our first Milestone of 2015, the 300-Day Season Window.
(To be followed soon by many more, of course!)


Still colder and more rainy, with a winter weather advisory in effect for our area for possible slick roads this morning.
The weekend is promised to be much nicer, however, and I for one cannot wait.
(Enough of this miserably damp cold!)
Right now, we stand at 29 wet, icy degrees here in the central piedmont of North Carolina.


Well, whatever your weather, weather it better with a happy visit to the Shispering Pines this evening for more entertainment, Carl style.
(Oh. And have a Wonderful Wednesday, too!)

Thank you snowflake! It does smell nice, although I must admit all I had to do was grease of muffin pan and add water and stir.lol but it still was good and smelled awesome...have a great morning!:smile:

[Holiday]

Hello Christmas friends.

We lost Happy tonight. He took a turn for the worse, and yesterday the vet stated she believed he had a brain tumor. He was suffering more and more and went down hill quickly. The vet recommended we send him on as his quality of life was getting bad. We already miss him!

Well I am about to see Brandi off then slip back into bed for a few hours hopefully before they boys get up! It's still 25F and just getting daylight...luckily I have room darkened shades so it will be like midnight in my room! TTYl!

Good morning to you all! Aren't you glad it's Wednesday instead of Monday or Tuesday?

It's SO gray and cold today. I'm at my workplace like a good girl, but where I really want to be is in some fuzzy sweats under a cozy afghan on the sofa with some good video and some hot tea! I must get rid of that daydream before the jobs start hitting my desk!

Good early morning folks! I can't sleep so what better to do than hang out here before I fix breakfast for the family? Right now it's a chilly but seasonal 25F clear skies and it's going to be a sunny winter day with highs reaching 38 to 40F I think that will wipe out our dusting of snow we got over the weekend, but you can't have it all I guess. I hope everyone slept better than me.lol talk to yall later! Have a great morning!

We had a sprinkling of snow, no accumulations. Everything is iced over though. Although very cold at -1C, it's not as intolerable as some of you. Storm Rachel is heading our way from the US and is meant to cause havoc is some parts.

Good morning, It's a chilly 19 degrees here at the moment with a few snow flurries coming down, blowing across the road. I'm just getting here in the office, haven't even fired up the coffee pot yet; I just wanted to log-in and wish everyone a good morning, before I did anything else. Not a soul is here yet besides me, so I'm going to make the coffee and have my oatmeal breakfast.....
