Thank you my friend. It sure was and is.... I am hoping now that since I got it cleaned off pretty good, that we will get a little bit of a melt today and hopefully it will dry off somewhat and not become black ice tonight.

The most important part of all of this, is that he told me last night and this morning that he was losing control of his car a couple of times during his drive home last night, in the end, he did make it home safe...So, thank the lord for that!

I'm not a nap taking kind of guy, but I'm seriously eyeing the Lazyboy right about now!!!!:-D

Afternoon all, Isaac woke up from his nap and started throwing up again and the fever is also back . He has gone to sleep again now . I feel so helpless. He is so little to so ill.

Just having a cup of tea and then may pop to the pharmacy very quickly while he is resting home with Mr Festive.

Morning! Good, ehhhhh...Yes and no, maybe in a hour or so it will be. Zachary had an awful time getting home last night, because of the slop mess that was falling down last night. He ended up getting home, but got stuck at the bottom of the driveway and ended up going halfway off the drive (getting ready to slide down the hill into the woods).

So, because Lisa had to go to work this morning, She woke me up at 4:30 telling me she couldn't get out. I was like "ummm yea, there's a car stuck in the driveway"! That didn't go over well, so I got up, got dressed, and tried to get down the bottom of the driveway without breaking my neck. It took me from between 5:30 am till 10 before I got it all done with the car un-stuck, tractor out to push and clear the ice and slush, and get the whole driveway cleared (800 feet) so that Lisa can go to work. I'm pooped... What the killer was, it was because when this mess started last night, it started out as sleet and it just stuck like glue to the roads and walkways.

What a night/ morning!

I just head that another snow event is coming this way for Sunday night into Monday night... I sure hope that this time, it is actually a snow event and not all this constant ice; which totally has a negative suction factor to it~

Yikes!!! That sounds like quite the mess!!! Glad you were able to get it all taken care of and that Zach made it home safely even if it was a little scary at times!!! I hope the roads are much better today!!!!

Well I decided that I should run to Target this morning and just get it out of the way. So I got that done and then stopped by the grocery store. They were marking down a bunch of whole chickens so I picked up 4 of them. I'm thinking it's time to make some mini thanksgiving dinners. Now it's time to chill for the rest of the weekend!!!!!

Good afternoon! Well, no nap, but I was able to vacuum the first floor, clean the rabbit cage and wash and re-fill the bunny bins, Vacuum the garage and wash the kitchen down. So, what's next? I think I may install some shelves in the garage, burn some boxes and maybe mess around in Vicki's bathroom by doing some more demo work....Just another day in paradise right!cheesy

We are still getting some on and off snow showers but at least it is not laying on the driveway, only on everything else! Lisa and Zach headed off to work since I got the drive all cleared and it's just me and Vicki here. She is still feeling the effects from being sick but overall, she says she feels better. She looks better, but still has a cough and the sniffles....

I'm going to take a little break now and see what's on the tube, most likely nothing worth looking at, as usual, but I'm going to give it a try....

Good morning!
We got a few inches of snow over night but it looks like it's now turned over to rain. The roads are a slushy mess. It's supposed to turn back over to snow at some point. My youngest has a class this morning so I'm a nervous wreck about her driving. I think I'm going to head outside to start shoveling the backyard for the dogs and then the driveway and cars. Not too much going on for me today, I'm going to work on some more of those online courses for work and make a pot of chicken soup for dinner. Should be an easy day, fingers crossed. I have been beyond tired lately. The past two nights I got in to bed and had every intention of reading through the daily posts. But I ended up falling asleep with my phone in my hand the minute my head hit the pillow. I must be getting old!
I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!
