Hi friends! Hope everyone has been doing good. I've been spending the past few days trying to get ready for some travel this week. I'm excited, but I hate leaving Doc and Bam behind. It is work related, but I still miss the heck out of them when I'm gone.

We had a party to attend last night...been a while since Doc and I have been at one. We had a good time, but we was at home and in bed by 10:00 p.m. I'm way too old to wake up in the morning and not feel good. Saw a couple of them out this morning....I think we made a good call.

SuperBowl is coming next weekend. Don't know about y'all, but I'm excited. I think it will be a good matchup.

I'm off to read the rest of the boards....a couple of weeks before 1/4 to the season...NICE! It will be here before we know it! See y'all later!

Good Sunday morning (and Happy Rudy Day!!), my Christmas friends!

As other have mentioned, we're exactly one month in, eleven to go till the big day again! Actually, only seven months from now we'll be very close to celebrating the start of the 'Bers again!

Elizabeth got home from her overnight trip with the church youth group to snow tube at Stone Mountain, GA. She says she had a great time, but I'm glad she's home!

Nancy stayed with her mother last night, but I hope she'll be home in a couple hours. Then we'll go out to my mom's for lunch.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

:rudolph:
I always like it when everyone is home again too.
Hope you had a nice lunch with your mom.

Ours is similar to that, except it's now a blizzard warning.

They just bumped us into a Winter Storm Warning. The accumulations are now estimated for 20-30 inches. If that is the case I WILL not be driving to work, I don't want to get stranded out there.

I think you're being too generous with your "gift"! This morning the radio is saying "historic storm … one to two feet, maybe more …" and the bulk of the storm is still two days away!

I have a Tuesday morning appointment that I will have to reschedule. I will probably be on hold for quite a while when I call them tomorrow.

Happily, the little storm yesterday made us think of updating our "blizzard box" with fresh non-refrigerated food, so we will be a little ahead of the curve. As HMG said, the stores will probably be full of panic-buyers tomorrow.
hope it will not be as bad as predicted, but good you are ready for whatever comes your way. Yes, I know how crazy it can get in the store before a major storm. Is just as crazy when it is over for all those who realize they should have been ready before it hit.
Hope the power stays on and you keep warm and safe.

Just read this news story predicting how the storm will unfold. Unnerving.

Just gonna hunker down, and stay safe for this thing. It looks like we are just off the blizzard warning, it is over the county line which is just a town away.

Good morning, friends! Just crawling into bed. I ended up working 12 hours. Hoping I can catch a little nap here, then I will get back up and try not to waste the day away, since it is my day off.

We're gearing up for another storm. They're now calling for 4-8 inches overnjght, then 1-3 tomorrow. We'll see! I'll be back later! Hope you all have a great day!

those are long shifts, too long I think. I have trouble getting though 7 hours! Hope you had a good sleep.
Hearing lots about this storm praying all in its path will be safe and warm.

Good evening,

It was a slow go this morning, we had a few inches on the ground but the plows and sand trucks weren't even out yet. I made it, the Equinox drives so well in the snow. Very slow day customerwise, so we were able to work and empty 13 pallets of merchandise so I am beat.

I did a quick run through of the posts, day off tomorrow.

I hope you all had a great day.

Goodnight, everyone.

Hope you're enjoying your day off!

Good idea!
I wouldn't risk my safety either.

Take good care!

Good evening!

Not enough charge to respond to all the posts I would have liked to, but at least I read them all! Know that you all remain in my prayers!

Busy day. Grocery shopped, searched for store stock, and picked up the mail. I didn't realize it has been over two weeks since I was at the post office ~ oops. There is a bag of mail to go through and the canned goods to put away yet, but I am going to do that tomorrow when I am not so sleepy and my back has a bit of time to rest. Back spasm problem the past few weeks and today was very uncomfortable. The pain pills have finally kicked in so I should sleep fairly well tonight. Yay!

Stay safe and merry dreams, dear friends!

Eleven months to Christmas Eve!!!

Sorry to hear you've been having trouble with your back. Hope the pain pills do help. I'll keep you in my prayers, Meceka.

Made my road trip to Home Depot, damage, over 300.00 dollars. Hmmm. I'd better take the wife out to dinner to offset that trip. Sort of soften the blow....Hee-Hee!!!!

I burned up a whole bunch of stuff out back while the weather is holding off, ate some Chinese noodles for lunch, had a cupcake for dessert and getting ready to start some laundry and then head out into the garage to put up some shelves.

Tonight we were supposed to take Vicki back to college for the start of the spring semester, but I do believe we are going to hold off a day or two because now their talking about that we may get snow starting tonight and not ending till Tuesday night....Wow!
We may drop of some of her stuff but she's going to stay home.
busy day for you!

I sure hope that your back feels better soon Meceka!

Mine has been given me a fit too at times lately, especially right in the dead center of my back. I've been stretching on the hard floor and putting heat on it. I've been blaming it on the pressure differentials (low pressures) of the storms that have been coming thru and or developing.

Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers!
