Yes, actually, I do love within the mountains, but not the higher elevations. I just have them surrounding me. I do sit down in a little valley and we're not far from going up into the mountains, so we do get a larger snowfall here, when they are calling for snow. There is a nice ski resort - Blue Knob, that is pretty popular. It's only 25 miles away from me. The elevation there is 3, 172 feet. It's the highest of any ski resort in PA. Rural PA is beautiful!

Yes 3172 is pretty high elevation for the east coast. The ski resort I use to go to was snowshoe in west Virginia and the elevation was 4500Ft,,there are some higher peaks in North Carolina, but West Virginia is futher north so it gets more snow of course. I have gone to a ski resort in Maryland close to the west Virginia/pa state line!

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Another busy day here at work, but I like it like that.

Not much to report from last night. I watched "Insidious 2"...by myself...in the dark. Eeek! I love those scary ghost-type movies.

I think Lulu might be getting a bladder infection, bless her heart. I'll have to watch her a little more closely.

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve!!! Yippee!!! :dance:

We got some rainy/icky stuff early this morning - driveway was slick, but by the time I came to work, it was warmed up enough (36) that the roads were mostly just wet - a little slick in spots, but ok! Now it's just cloudy & they are saying 40º by early afternoon with rain moving in - then dropping temps & rain turning to snow. Guess we'll find out! :smile:

Gracie goes to the beauty parlor at lunch. She's getting ready to go on vacation! :grin:
Dad has his appointment with the surgeon this afternoon, so hopefully they don't have any issues getting there - my sister is taking them. Hoping & praying for some good news for him! xx

Thank you so much. Feeling pretty awful right now. I'm so glad I don't have to go back to the preschool until Tuesday, at least I won't be around all of those germs for a few days!
