Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good afternoon... It's looking pretty dreary outside at the moment, but nothing is coming down.

Well, I got all the demolition work in Vicki's bathroom all done. Man, it was a little tougher to do that I thought it would. The shower walls and floor had 1/2 inch concrete board under the tiles and the stuff would crumble instead of coming up when I was trying to pry it up. Concrete dust was every where's... I was stopping about every 15 to 20 minutes and use a shop vac to try to keep my mess down. But in the end, I am done the demolition, all the rooms are cleaned up and the debris is all out in the back of my pickup truck. I ditched everything from the bathroom, including the toilet, gone....

I'm taking a 10 minute break and then I'm going to do some more odds and ends....

Sounds like a productive day!

There are always surprises in construction/remodels, isn't there?!

well we are getting the same weather Made is. Winter storm warnings out here. Good thing we are home and warm. Meeting at work was cancelled so do not have to go out for that.
I do have to go and get my daughters computer as the night guy will most likely not be in and she will have to pull a double shift.
