Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

Elizabeth still has that bad cold. She stayed home from school today, and she'll miss ballet practice tonight. She hates missing that, since they have a ballet coming up, but it can't be helped.

Nancy, her sister, and the other girls in her office are using some show tickets tonight that were gifted to them from an appreciative tax client. They're going to see Harry Connick, Jr. in Savannah. I've never known Nancy to like jazz, but I'm sure she's not going just because she thinks he's pretty to look at. :wink:

Anyway, while she's not looking at Harry Connick, Jr., I'll be home tending to our sick daughter, our sick dog, and our hungry son. Poor me.

Trying to get my niece's to do their homework for the last 2 hours has convinced me that I'm just fine not having kids of my own!!! LOL!!!!!

Good evening my friends. Not a whole lot going on with us, we went out to Michaels and Staples after supper and picked up a few things. Lisa scored, she had been looking for different types of plastic flowers, so that she could re-do some of her arrangements.

Well, she hadn't had much luck with finding the plastic flowers in the colors that she wanted for the last few weeks while we were out looking for them. This time, she wasn't looking for them and Michaels had tons of them out and they were all marked down 40% off....She was thrilled.

Me. I was looking for some heavy duty picture wire (for that mirror that the wire broke on me earlier in the week), I found some stainless steel wire, that was strong enough to hold up to 100 pounds..

I'm sooo thrilled that tomorrow is Friday, man it's been such a long week. I'm looking forward to a nice weekend, aren't you?:-D

It's a chilly one in Ohio today! Was 2º I came to work this morning. Sun is shining, so it looks so pretty outside!! But Brrrrrr!!!

Dad was cleared this morning for surgery on Monday, so it's a go! Eek! Hopefully he will be up & moving around again in no time! xx

I notice they're still playing it pretty close to the vest---chances of snow from Saturday through Tuesday, but pretty close-lipped about accumulations, except to say that it could be "significant."

Ahhhhh, I'm getting disgusted with those guys! They keep on getting my hopes up talking that we are going to get snow, but all we end up with is Ice and or rain. All the snow has been heading up towards your way.... Those darn Miser brothers...... I'm going to have to place a call to none other than....."Mother Nature!!!!"

Good day one and all! I left the house this morning to come to the office and the temperature at that moment was our high for today! It's been going down since then. Looks like some very cold air is being pumped into the area.

I had to go in for a meeting this morning, with the Bob's, (from the movie office space), because I had submitted a report a couple of weeks ago about the incident of a couple of guys here getting into a shoving match. I had to recall everything that I heard and or saw to them, (which was not much).. I'd like to see that one guy get canned who started the whole ordeal, because he's such a hot-head...

Both Lisa and I have been feeling the effects from a little bug that we must of picked up, since last night. I feel ok overall, but my stomach is a little sensitive to everything I eat! It's probably just a 24 hour something or another that's going around. maybe some wings, fried pickles, ice cream and Doritos w/ chili and cheese will make me feel better....

I hope everyone is having a good start to their day so far!

I hope you're feeling better, let me know when we can go out for all that food, I'll join you on some stomach destroying fun. cheesy

Brrrrrr, it's cold in the house tonight. Since we were out, I had the fireplace off, and the heat was turned down. I had to crank up the furnace just a bit to kick up the temperature in here from 64 to 68 degrees. It was like 21 degrees outside when I got home a little bit ago, and the temperature is still dropping outside. Mannnn, going to be a frosty one tomorrow morning, when I leave here at 5:15 to head to the office....

It's that first grimace, that I dread, when you plop your behind down on that cold leather seat in the vehicle! It's like sitting on an ice block....:cold:

Good Afternoon, Mmc!!! Brr!! It's cold out there but at least the sun is shining!! Mom's doctors appointment went good. Then we had a couple of other appointments about trying to get her some help with medical bills that were really just a waste of time. Oh well. Don't know until you try. Now I'm at my sister's babysitting my oldest niece while she takes my youngest niece to the doctor. She sounds horrible and my oldest niece got sent home from school today because she was running a fever again. So I have a feeling they will both becoming home with me instead of going to school tomorrow. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!

Stay warm!!! I know what you are saying about those cold seats!! That's how it was here this morning with a temp of 9.
