People are nuts!!!

A few years ago when we had more snow than we have now, I was shoveling off the roof and I looked down thinking I should jump into the snow from the roof.



I chickened out. cheesy

Hoping everyone is having a good day so far! I've been busy all morning, which is making the day fly right on by so far.

I had planned on logging back into to MMC last night, but around 8:30 last night, I was curled up on the couch with a blanket over me, the fireplace was on, TV was off, Lisa was in one of the lazy-boys, with her I-pad, and it was the last thing I remembered, until she woke me up, when it was time for bed. I went upstairs to bed, and I slept all night long and even could not get up this morning. Seriously, I didn't get out of bed until 8:00 this morning, got to work an hour and a half later than usual! I still feel like I could go back to bed and sleep for the rest of the afternoon...maybe I have a little something working on me....

I hope you are feeling okay, you must have needed that rest.

Good Thursday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

I talked to the vet again this morning. She said Lulu is still doing very well, and she sees no problem with her coming home first thing in the morning! I know I'll sleep better with her at the foot of the bed.

It's cold down south! We can't even pour concrete here at work, so they sent all the guys home. I have to say, it's in the teens in the shade with a strong breeze...it's too tough even for a really strong guy to take!

Unfortunately it appears so. They are saying the next two weeks here are going to be well below our average high of 41 for this time of year.

I would be happy just to reach the 20's regularly, we are going through oil very rapidly with these low temps.

Good evening everyone. The podiatrist's office called earlier and rescheduled my appointment for Monday. I hate when that happens. My foot is bothering me today, I was looking forward to going. No biggie though, I can wait a few more days. And I also have another doctor appointment early tomorrow morning, just a routine annual exam. So at least I get to relax tonight. I'm getting ready to crash on the couch and watch the Islander game.
Hope everyone enjoys the evening!

I hope you are being like the Islanders and putting that foot on ice.

When I was going through my foot issues, the doctor told me to freeze a bottle of water and roll your foot over it to keep the cold moving from one area to another. It helped.

Happy Thursday evening all. We are finally getting some winter weather. This week we've had ice & snow along with cold temps. We have to park at the bottom of the mountain and walk up to the house. The college where I work has been closed all week. Our low last night was -2 should be about the same tonight. I've had snow cream several times. We are forecast to get another 5 inches of snow tomorrow night. Wish we could have had New England's winter but I'll take this. I'm one of the few in our county enjoying it.

I don't know how Santa handles the cold all the time in the North Pole.

The North Pole was actually warmer than us today!!!!

I want spring to warm it up a little, but then I will just complain about how warm it is. cheesy

LOL!!! I will be the same way!!!

If i could just find somewhere that has lows in the 30's and high's in the mid 60's all year long, I would be set!!!

Same old, same old here, work, home, dinner... nothing new going on here. The weather pattern is the same way, expecting another 4-8 inches of snow Saturday into Sunday, then turning to rain which is never good for the snow that is on the roofs around here.

I did pick up "Dumb & Dumber To" on DVD, so I can look forward to watching that this weekend.

Another day at the fun factory awaits me early, soooo...
