Good afternoon, friends! Not much going on here! Just sitting here with the kids, watching TV.

The kids had a delay this morning. The low was only calling for 0, but it was -9 this am, the lowest it's been this winter. Very frigid! It's 23 right now, so it feels much warmer!

Ella had a groomer today and just got back - she looks beautiful, but is tired - she hates that place! Poor thing!

Good morning MMC! We made it back! cheesy I have missed you all!! I'm probably not even going to try to catch up on everything I missed - I can only imagine how many pages of posts that is! :lol: But I do hope all is well with all of you!! xx

We had a great vacation, Gracie had a great vacation & of course ~ it's always good to be home. It didn't have to be THIS cold when we got home, but whatdayado??

My Dad is back in the hospital. He has MRSA! He fell once while we were gone & by Sunday he was in so much pain they took him by squad b/c we couldn't transport him comfortably. From there they sent him to ICU at a bigger hospital, but Monday morning they transferred him to a regular, non ICU room. He was in quite a bit of pain yesterday. I was up there with Mom most of the day yesterday, until my brother came. Then my other sis took his spot staying until after 9pm last night. And yet another sis was up there by 6am this morning & she said he was looking a lot better, he had a good nights sleep, he didn't have pain & hadn't had morphine since 8pm last night. So hopefully he is on the right track now. Still waiting to see the surgeon. He should be in today! My SIL is taking Mom up this afternoon & my sis & I are heading up after work. They are looking to transfer him to rehab when he leaves the hospital so hopefully they can get him up & walking!!

I have to tell ya - Gracie was a hero while we were gone... at 2:30am on Wed she was barking & barking -for 45 minutes - wouldn’t stop until Mark got out of bed. Then he heard another dog barking & he thought “Where is that coming from” So he turned on the outside lights & opened his blinds, only to see 2 Coyotes had a lost dog trapped up by their house. The Coyotes were 4 ft. from the dog. When he turned on the lights it scared them away! So he went out & got the dog & brought it in & fed it & gave it some water. The owner was several miles away - he said the Coyotes had been running her for awhile - she was tired & scared. Poor thing!! It ended up being a veterinarians dog. Good girl Gracie! The dog she "saved" is the black & white dog in the collage of pictures.

I'm sorry to hear that your dad is back in the hospital, I will keep him in my prayers.
Thank God Gracie woke up and saved that dog. What an amazing story!

Good afternoon friends, I just got caught up from reading the posts.

I'm about getting ready to grab some breakfast and get ready to leave for work in about an hour. I have to be on-site at 4pm. Hopefully, I will get home tonight before 3 am, but I'm not sure exactly what the schedule is going to be like tonight. One good thing, at least we are working indoors where it is warm...

I hope everyone has a good day and evening. I'll do a drive by in the early morning hours, before I go to bed, just to check in and see how all my Christmas buddies are doing....

I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go.....

I hope you are able to adjust to this schedule quickly.
