I have been playing my tablet a lot the last two days, one of my favorite "games" has been released on an app. The Addams Family pinball game is it!! I use to play the pinball machine for hours at a time when I was a teen. I will still play it at the arcade in Lake George, NY, but now I can play it anytime!!!! I am loving it, it brings back so many memories.

What kind of a tablet did you decide on? (Apologies if you mentioned it already...I missed it.)

The pinball app sounds like a lot of fun!

Well, while everyone is sleeping here, and by the time you read this, hopefully, I will be asleep!

I hope you all had a good yesterday and I wish for all of you an even better one today!

Another long night, but they seem to get easier as I am going along, not sure if that's because I did the hardest part first or I am just getting used to the up and down ladder thing all night long.... I will turn right around and head back out there tomorrow afternoon, once I get up and get some coffee in me, and get up on their roof during the daylight hours. Sure don't want to be trudging around on some snow covered roof at night, that's for sure....

PLEASE BE CAREFUL ON THE SNOW-COVERED ROOF. There have been injuries and one death reported up here after people working on snow-covered roofs crashed through skylights that they couldn't see under the snow. The one death resulted from a 40-foot fall through a skylight. Dig before you step!

not a lot of time to dig through posts and I see that gabulldawg has not posted since telling us something was wrong and he was going to hospital. Has anyone heard anything from him or about him? Very concerned about him and praying all is well.

The same thing has been bothering me since he posted. Is anyone in touch with him outside of MMC?

Today it isn't snowing, and there's none in the forecast until Sunday night. That's a happy Friday around here!

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

Yesterday was Bernie's 78th birthday, so we all had supper together. We got some takeout from the local seafood place (so Mrs. Hilda didn't have to leave home), and it was pretty doggone good! I had a "Bomb Sandwich"...it's a blackened tilapia fillet in a folded pita bread sandwich with Monterey Jack cheese, peppers, onions, lettuce & tomato. Mmm, mmm, mmm! I'm ready for another! It's prolly not on my diet, but so what LOL.

I talked Nancy into taking Lulu for her follow-up exam at the vet today. I'm tired of being the bad guy.

HMG, I hope your daughter's feeling better today. I hope we hear from Dawg and Crown. Has anyone heard from Seawaters lately? Prayers for all of y'all.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be another chilly one here in central Indy where we currently stand at 3 degree's. It looks like we will top out around 17 this afternoon. I need to run to the grocery at some point today. Other than that, I've got some work to do here on the computer and my daily chores. Exciting stuff. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!

We are supposed to be going out for a family dinner tomorrow night at some fancy-smancy restaurant (with Lisa's parents and all of her Aunts and Uncles). I wonder if jeans, flannel shirt and my NRA camouflaged hat would be proper attire, while I'm eating my lobster?
Well, at least if I get some butter droplets on my shirt, they won't stand out and will most likely just blend in.....

I just stomped by toe on a dag-burn case of soda.....That was smart!!!! That will teach me to be rooting around in the pantry with the lights off....It was a case of the 2:30am munchies.....But, I did find the soft, chewy, chocolate chip cookies~

Sugar, we know someone who had very similar symptoms and it turned out to be their gallbladder. We were in the ER from 8:30 to 3:00am and still don't have an answer. They did another chest xray and a few sonograms. They're thinking it has something to do with her esophagus but they're not sure. She needs to see a gastroenterologist now, I'm going to call this morning. I hope someone will see her soon considering she is in pain and can not eat.

Praying that they can get her in soon. I know mom's test never came back bad but it ended up being her gallbladder too.

Good morning everyone. Beyond tired today. Wish I could have stayed in bed but I have to get everyone up and going. I doubt my oldest will be going to school today, I'm going to check on her in a little bit. Sophia and Rosie have a vet appointment this morning, they're having their stitches taken out. So glad that surgery & recovery is behind us. Typical day otherwise. I have to work on a menu plan and grocery list as well but I don't have the strength to do any shopping today, I'll go tomorrow. That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a Happy Friday!

I just checked and they saying that power should be restored to everyone in in North Carolina by tonight. So hopefully that's all it was and we hear from Crown some time soon!!

Good morning MMC!! Happy Happy Friday! I haven't had a chance to catch up, but wanted to log on & wish you all a Happy Weekend!!!

Dad is still about the same. Getting frustrated. Running lots & lots & lots of tests! Seems the poor guy can't get a break! They are pretty sure all his pain is coming from his vertebra t10 & t11, but they want to rule everything out. He's pretty uncomfortable, mostly when he moves. When he lays still, he can sleep pretty comfortably. I feel like the hospital is my 1st home. Poor Gracie. She smothered me in kisses this morning - I didn't need to wash my face! HA! I was at the hospital for 11 hours yesterday...and sleeping on the couch by 9:30 last night! I'll be heading back up this afternoon ~ he is scheduled for release to the nursing home on Sunday. xx We are supposed to get 3-5" of snow Sunday! I guess mother nature is saying "Happy March!" In like a lion, out like a lamb! xx

Hope all is well with all of you! Have a GREAT FRIDAY!!!!

It was off all day and by evening, we gave up waiting and drove to my niece's condo which did not loose power.
Just got back and will be doing lots of clearing once the snow melts!

But no matter.
On with the count.
(And a special "THANKS!" to Made for perceiving the emergency and stepping in to save the count yesterday!)

Days to the Season: 259
Days to Christmas Day: 301

And quickly, we can tell (with just a little bit of shock) that we will arrive at the 300-day Christmas Day Window TOMORROW, and the next day we begin a double-200's count.
(Wowzers, indeed!)

Dad is still about the same. Getting frustrated. Running lots & lots & lots of tests! Seems the poor guy can't get a break! They are pretty sure all his pain is coming from his vertebra t10 & t11, but they want to rule everything out. He's pretty uncomfortable, mostly when he moves. When he lays still, he can sleep pretty comfortably. I feel like the hospital is my 1st home. Poor Gracie. She smothered me in kisses this morning - I didn't need to wash my face! HA! I was at the hospital for 11 hours yesterday...and sleeping on the couch by 9:30 last night! I'll be heading back up this afternoon ~ he is scheduled for release to the nursing home on Sunday. xx We are supposed to get 3-5" of snow Sunday! I guess mother nature is saying "Happy March!" In like a lion, out like a lamb! xx

Hubby and I have a date night tomorrow .. dinner and shopping. Hoping to pick up a couple things for the kids Easter baskets and maybe score a Christmas gift or 2. It would seem fair to do some Christmas shopping as this weekend is also a big weekend in the countdown :-D
