Unfortunately my daughter doesn't feel better, hopefully the medicine will start to work soon. If she still doesn't improve by Monday I'll bring her back to the doctor. They have to figure out what's going on.

Cold and sunny here today. Made a few attempts to get to the car wash---cars around here are just caked with road salt---but the lines were so long they were causing a gridlock. More snow tomorrow night, 3 to 6 more inches. *sigh*

Getting warm and comfortable for the evening. Hoping this finds you all the same!

We went on a walk and found a dog we know running around his house, with the front door open. Only 15 degrees outside, and he seemed frightened. We were worried about the owners inside, too. So we've been on the phone trying to have their welfare checked, when the guy came home. Said his dog got out...must be an escape artist! All's well that ended well, I guess.

That's what I'm confused about.

He is a large pup, a Weimaraner mix. So, maybe the door was closed tight, and he nudged it? Who knows....

Crazy thing was that we saw him on the other side of the development, near to our place. But as we got closer to home, I could see him heading down the sidewalk toward his house. So, I hopped in the car and checked it out. Was too cold for him to be wandering, was afraid with the coyotes I hear at night, too.

Oh yes....2 hour power nap; feeling a lot better after that. Seriously, I posted, kicked back and was gone... Vicki said she heard me snore a few times. I don't snore when I sleep, so I know I must of have been tired...

Vicki and I spent the day together doing everything that we had planned to do plus squeeze in changing out my grandfathers fireplace grate and replace 2 washing machine hoses and separate a road trip to Home Depot and the Feed Store. At the feed store, they had container after container filled with baby chickens and bunnies. Vicki about had a field day with them.

We are just going to hang in tonight, watch a movie and just relax, talk and hang out together for the rest of the evening.:sparkle:
