I did see that!!! It's crazy!!! I don't know why they would pick his track. They hacked the sites of a couple of charities around here.

Talking about close to home. They arrested a guy here on terrorism charges having to do ISIS a couple of weeks ago right outside of the airport on the day that the President was flying in for a visit. They still haven't released a lot of details about it.

I was back in that hole in my mom's backyard yesterday afternoon, battling the tenacious leak. I think I wore more mud home than I put back in the hole, but it's done. Maybe mine's not over Lake Michigan, but it's at least hanging over my Grandaddy's pond.

Boy, that sounds like something that I would do...both the mud and having to jump in a ditch to fix a plumbing leak.... Hope you got it!

I know what you mean about the glue, that day I was working on the vanity, I knocked over the can of PVC cement and luckily, I had a tarp down over the hardwood, and I had that tuff all over me, and into that night, and the next day.....

I can't get excited for our Disney trip because Mom is supposed to go, but with my grandmother, we don't know if she can. The trip is paid for so somebody will be going. We will be disappointed if she can't, but we can't control whats happening right now.

Just keep us all in your thoughts and prayers. We've been through this before with my maternal grandmother, but there was money for round-the-clock caretakers to come in & care for her. We are not afforded that blessing with my paternal grandmother.

On a brighter note: DD stated emphatically yesterday that she was ready to wear shorts again & that she wanted winter to be over. She only wanted a little snow for Christmas! I'm just looking forward to three weekends from now to be able to camp for a couple of nights close to home to get away from everything!

Have you looked into home Physical therapy for her? It might be worth a shot and should be covered by her insurance. They can show her different exercises, even seated ones that she could do and maybe that will use up some of her energy. Thats is what we did with my mom when she came to live with us. Although her health and mobility is much better now we can not trust her to live alone anymore. To keep her busy and out of my hair we set her up with a crafting station that is suited to her likes.

You should have seen Gracie at lunch ~ she looked like she had a full black beard! Straight to the tub...

A quick "hello," everyone!

I picked up an Intermediate (Grade 7/8) shift this morning. It was at a school I have been to before, but only once. Anyway, it is now done. It was a pretty good day... quite exhausting, however. Hopefully I get a call for Russell tomorrow. We'll see.

I wish I had more time to visit today. I was constantly moving from classroom to classroom today and dealing with students on a one-on-one basis. It was definitely not something in which I have much experience. Still, it was all right. I learned a lot. The best part about today? This school ended at 2:10... I get to go home now!!

I hope everyone has had a great Tuesday. Looking forward to seeing you all at the 'Pines tomorrow!

There was a train stopped on the tracks this morning, so half the town was trying to figure out an alternate way to get their kids to school! I had to call DH to tell me how to get there. We made it with just a few minutes to spare.
