I was looking for some corn on the cob at the store today. Sometimes you can find them already shucked. I have some baby back ribs in the crock pot, and some baked potatoes for dinner tonight.

Happy St. Patty's Day, my Christmas friends!
I just remembered that was today...I'm not wearing any green...and I'm Irish! Nobody tell my great-great-grandpappy.
It's going to be another sunny day in the mid-80's, but then it's down into the low 70's for the rest of the week.
We have customers coming in for the tour this morning, so I'll be out for a while.

Good afternoon,
I have had such a busy day, I am beat. I started out at 930 this morning and didn't get home until right before 2pm, I went to the town offices, first time I have been there since the building opened back in the fall, the old town office building, which was my elementary school when I was a kid, was destroyed by the 2011 tornado. I honestly don't like it, there is no personality to it, it is just too anti-septic if that makes any sense. I did a grocery store run, pharmacy run, got the car's oil changed. Ran to KMart, DVD trade in store, and Goodwill, no luck in any of them, I am trying to make up my mind on what new grill I want. Our old one collapsed last year, we can't go through another summer with no cookouts. cheesy
I came home and had the rest of my corned beef for lunch, that hit the spot.
JP has Scouts tonight, so very little down time for a day off.
My grandmother from my mother's side was 100% Irish, so she always treated this as such a big day. Her corned beef was one of the best, hard to believe she has been gone for nearly 9 years.
