Christmas Countdown - 2015

Typical day here. I'll be working on some chores around the house and I have a few errands to run. I may also take a ride to Babies R Us to get a baby shower gift, I haven't been in that store in quite some time!

Good Morning, Folks.

Yet another week has come.
And with it, new count figures and the notation of the shockingly close approach of 2015 Milestone number five.

First, the figures:
Days to the Season: 235
Days to Christmas Day: 277

Then, the Milestone update:
Number five is the one-quarter point to Christmas Day and it's UNDER HALF a week away now.
That's right -- a scant 3 days.
(Well, what do you know about that!)


Another nice one here yesterday. Highs in the 60's, plenty of sun and no rain.
Just about perfect for late March!
Today will hopefully be similar and it has commenced at 48 degrees.

That it is. We'll figure out some way to make it work until he finds another full-time position.

I am rebuilding my coupon binder and getting back in that and we are planning out what veggies we want to plant in our garden. I have a dehydrator and a pressure canner so I plan on drying/canning as much as possible to help keep the pantry full. Want to have a yard sale this spring to help unload everything we we no longer use and all the stuff the kids have outgrown.

Still not warm enough to open windows to air out the house and do some major spring cleaning. Figured if I get the purging done first then the spring cleaning will not be as bad.

Hi folks! How is your evening so far! Good day today, a little busy, vacuumed the floors, cleaned some inside, I burned up some cardboard boxes outside, went for a walk, and did some exploring on the adjacent property next to mine (it's 300+ acres) woods, swamps streams and fields. I found this old dilapidated county farm house, with falling down barns, corn silos, etc... it was pretty cool! Found this neat looking old green square bottle in the ground, I brought it home with me. After I got home, about 10 minutes later, I found a friend crawling on my chest, a deer tick.... So I stripped, clothes in the washer and me in the shower....next time I go in the woods, I'm wearing DEET..

We are just relaxing a bit, had our night time snack and watching a movie now!

The old farm sounds really cool!! The little friend you brought home, not so much!! Glad you found him before he chomped down on anything!!

Good evening,

It has been a long day today, LC's birthday party was a fun time. He says it was his greatest party ever. He got lots of toys, money and gift cards. We have decided this was our last big birthday party for either boy. They have been spoiled for years with them, it is just getting too expensive to keep doing it year after year.

I replaced my tablet today, I've been saving my pennies, and I finally made my goal last week and bought the Samsung Galaxy tab s 8.4. I absolutely love it, there is so much more I can do with it compared to the Kindle. I loved my Kindle too, but wow this is amazing. I have used it here trying to post videos (which was very hard to do on the Kindle) pictures and watching videos posted here. It can do it all quite easy.

I will be heading to bed, another day getting up early.

brrrrrr this morning at -15c (5f) so I guess I have to bundle up for my walk to the bus stop. My brother says van will be ready to go by the weekend, so looking forward to that !

All night long, even when I woke up in the middle of the night, if I felt an itch, a tickle, a anything, I was thinking that I had more friends crawling on me.....:? The wife was forewarning me not to bring any buggies to bed with me....

After she said that, then the rest of the night, and all night long, I felt like I had fleas...Like the thing where your hands are covered in flour, grease, etc... and your nose itches....:lol:

LOL!! I get like that too after I find something crawling on me!!

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be a chilly day here with a high around 40 and a mix of rain and snow moving in this afternoon. Yuck!!! At least we shouldn't see any accumulations.
