Pretty good here yesterday with just a slight nip in the air to let us know it's still March.

(Much colder weather is just ahead to further remind us!)

We have started off this day before Weekend Eve at 63 degrees here in central NC after an overnight rain.

Man, that is crazy!!!! This march right??? It's bad enough to get Tornadoes in the summertime, but in March; already!!!!

I'm so happy to hear that you have an underground shelter (that is good thinking) but I'm with you, if I had to live with that worry 24/7, brother I'm telling you, Montana, Utah or Wyoming, Canada, East Coast, or Key west, would sound really good to me right about now.....

I can't even imagine what runs through you and your family's minds during each and every possible storm that may appear on the horizon.....

Well Moore had its first tornado tonight...just got out of the shelter.

So glad everyone is safe. How scary!!!!

Good evening everyone. Busy day for me. I got hung up at the doctors office this morning, then I spent the rest of the day trying to catch up with all of my errands and chores. My physical went well, just waiting on some test results. They did blood work, an echocardiogram and a thyroid sonogram while I was there. Every time I go they do a new test. Guess I'm getting old. Anyway, I ended up with a migraine because I hadn't had anything to eat for so long. I'm feeling better now, just tired. Back to work tomorrow so I'm going to turn in soon. See you in the morning before I leave.

Hello everyone. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers last night. Nothing big at our place: a fence panel down, my sons basketball goal and a bit of damage to the trampoline. I'll get up on the roof later and look it over.

Of all the tornadoes we've been through (October '98, May '99, May 2003, May 2013) this one may have scared us the most! It wasn't big but it came from nowhere! We had no warning. We knew there would be severe thunderstorms, but the tornado caught everyone off guard. One minute it's raining then the next the sirens are going off, wind and hail are all around, and we are headed underground. I'm just glad no one was hurt!

Happy Milestone Day, MMC!!! It's going to be a cold rainy day here in central Indy. Yuck. Needless to say, I'll just be hanging out here at home. Mom is doing a little bit better this morning. Not quite as shaky. Still has to use her walker though. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve!! My co-worker had to remind me this morning that in 9 months, Christmas is over! What a bah humbug!

Not much going on today! Our backsplash is done except my hubby has to put some (clear) caulking around it yet. Tonight I have stitch & 8itch at our house, so hopefully the girls will approve! If not - too bad! cheesy :wink:

I got all the thank you notes written out for Dads funeral last night. My hand was sore & my writing was starting to get sloppy in the end, but "thankfully" that's done! :smile:

I put the drive shaft under the Camaro yesterday, but that's all I had time to do. I have to find an engine and a transmission dipstick. I don't have either one. And I have to get some starter bolts to mount the starter. And I have to finish up the fuel line from the tank. That should get us to the point that we can crank it!
