back to regular schedule after a lovely weekend off. Working till 4 today. Most of the snow from yesterday is gone and hoping that is all we get for this season. I am ready for some spring now.

Good Morning, my Friends.

Well, things went well at the coast. The cottage took the winter well and there shouldn't be too much to do the next couple of times we go over to get things ready for the summer rental season.

Anyway, it's good to be back and to behold just how far down the count has dropped in my absence!
Days to the Season: 221
Days to Christmas Day: 263

Under three weeks now until the 1/3 Christmas Day marker.
And, oh.....did I forget to mention?......the NEXT Milestone after that is the VERY NEXT DAY.
Yes, that's right -- back to back Milestones!
(The 2nd one being the 200 day Season Window, after which our Season count will already be down into the 100's!
(Incredible!!)


Today has dawned at 55 degrees here, with the promise of a nice, sunny day.
Rain is in the forecast for later in the week, but for now I'll be satisfied with the moment.


Hey! A special thanks to our own Christmasstar for keeping the count candle lit so we wouldn't loose our bearings. (That would be bad luck, you know.)

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I hope everyone had a great Easter, too! After church, we spent the early day with my mom, then we went to Nancy's parents' for Christmas supper. Since Mrs. Hilda was in the hospital through Christmas, she wanted to do it on Easter. So we had our traditional Christmas Low Country Boil last night, and it was great! Shrimp, crab legs, sausage, potatoes & corn all boiled together with Zatarain's Crab Boil. Good stuff!

I pressure-washed the pool deck all day Saturday, and it looks like new money now, but I'm sunburned. Ouch!

A sunburn? Hard to imagine! cheesy Glad you had a great Easter. I'm not a fan of fish/seafood but I love making stuff like that in big batch. How fun! Have a great day!

Good morning everyone. I'm moving slow, not feeling so good. Probably just tired from yesterday. There's not too much going on today so that's good. Just have to pick up a prescription from Rite Aid and then I'm going to grab something for lunch with the girls. I'm also craving homemade chicken soup so I'm going to make myself a pot this afternoon. I'm so happy the house is clean, all I have to do is work on some laundry. That's about it for me. I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend and has a great week ahead!

Good morning MMC! It's Monday again! Already!?? Doesn't seem like we had an extra day off over the weekend, went too fast! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! The weather was SO nice! We went to the in-laws for lunch & had my family at our house for supper. Just about everyone made it, we were only missing a couple! Thankfully we were able to sit outside on the patio! Kids had fun with the Easter egg hunt. I hate to see nice days like that come to an end! The food was all good & plenty. After everyone left our back yard neighbors walked over & we turned on the patio heater & sat out there for a couple more hours. Such a fun day!

Have a great Monday everyone! I'm going to try to do some catching up on here!

Well mom's blood draw went good. Her doctor should have the results by her appointment Wednesday morning. She was moving pretty slow this morning though so I didn't get to run all of my errands. Just stopped by walmart real quick to get her some more salad stuff and me my chocolate!!! I was pretty good. I haven't had any cadbury eggs or just plain regular peeps all season. So I picked me up a back of both of those and a pack of Reese's egg's.

Snowflake- I got you a pack of Reese's egg's too!!!! You can swing by and get them when you come watch Wisconsin play tonight!!!!! LOL!!!
