Good afternoon, I'm home, called out sick, I'm not sick, just in a lot of pain this morning where it is shooting down my neck and also up into my ear.
That darn root canal. The doc did tell me that when this is done to the same tooth twice, it's usually more painful the second time around. He was right. I propped my self up last night to sleep on my back, but sometime during the night, I rolled over on my side and I awoke at 4am in pain... I got up, took a pain pill and tried to fall back asleep. I was rolling around, in and out for awhile. Woke up at 930 in pain again and I took another pain pill an hour ago. It's starting to subside a bit, but it's still there....
I'm not a sissy or anything, but man, this thing just plain outright is painful... Vicki and I are home here in front of the fireplace, in our pj's, drinking coffee and talking about our war wounds...She showed me the needle marks in her belly that they gave her to prevent blood clots...poor thing... I showed her the needle marks in my mouth from all the shots I got in there..... Then we were both talking about how much getting an IV in the top of your hand stinks, feels weird and that we don't like it.....
