Hey there, did you miss me, Well, I sure did missed you!!!!

Well today was a very productive/ good, good, good day. I was able to get 2 coats of drylock on the walls, one coat on the floor and I also painted the floor with concrete paint; of course that took 3 trips to Home Depot and I dropped about 170.00 on paint...Man that stuff is expensive, it's like 30.00 a can of paint... it better last~

I also did some hillbilly laundry tonight as well, I got paint all over me and my new blue jeans, Lisa gave me so much heck when she saw that, so I said ok, I filled up the tub and threw the pants in there and I dropped my drawers and jumped in...I thought Lisa was going to be beside herself....:lol:

It was me, the jeans and a bar of soap....by the time I got done we were all spick and span, except for the tub, which then, I had to scrub that down..

So, after all my antics, I relaxing now, I just threw a pizza in the oven and waiting on that to get done while I'm checking the posts from today....

Finally, a beautiful day out there that may get into the 60s!

We're doing some spring cleaning of the "time to toss it" variety. We need to clear some space for another chair, so a couple of lamp tables and an oversized ottoman have to go, along with stuff that has accumulated on the lamp tables. Just taking a breather to check in with you-all. I hope your Sunday is all you hoped it would be!

Hey gang! Hope all is well! Things are going pretty good here. Lovely weather! We had mid 70's yesterday and we are in the 80's today. It's about time things warmup. Bambina is taking a nap, so I'm about to go out in the yard and cut the grass (weeds) before she gets up. She has been wanting to go outside and play, but I had to work for a bit this morning. When I got home, it was close to nap time. She would stand at the door and say "tide" over and over. That's what she says when she wants to go outside. It's the only time in her life that I will allow her to say "tide." If she starts saying "roll tide", she's gonna move in with her grandmother.



Well, I'm going to go get outside and enjoy the weather. Y'all have a good day!

Here's a thought to ponder upon, have you ever wonder just how little you can walk away from Home Depot and or Lowes with and you have just spent a hundred dollars... I mean, come on... my gosh, have you tried to price out a home improvement project lately, cha-ching, big time. Like take the cost of materials a x's by 2 and that's the labor... It's crazy. The wife asks me now a days, how much you going to spend, and without hesitation, right off the top - about 100.00 dollars give or take...

Next, let's talk about how much it costs to go to the grocery store.......

Oh, here's another one... So, it comes out in the news that Russia is having gas problems....Overnight, our gas prices jump 10 cents per gallon... Well, hecks far...If anyone is having any kind of shortages of gas, well just open up some Taco Bells and that should take care of any kind of gas shortages......

My husband is in Home Depot & Lowes every week. We're lucky he does all of the work on this house by himself, I can't imagine having to pay for labor on top of the materials.
