Whew we had a hot one on our hands today, getting up to 90, still very nice to be outside though. Take care and have a great Sunday!

OH 2A!! 90 degrees? GET Out!

I woke up to a raging, blinding blizzard...no kidding, the kind where you can't see your own hand in front of you. With all the trimmings too, wind chill, fierce wind, ice pellets the size of small rocks hitting the face. OMG...why do I live here?

On the lighter side of it, all this @#*@!! precipation is bringing the Great Lakes up to a normal level again...which means fun in the sun later this summer!!

Dancing Boy reporting for duty!

We had a gorgeous day yesterday, I even put the air conditioning on in the car in the afternoon...Today is chilly and cloudy but still springlike! My wife is changing the curtains today to the spring/summer ones...I always hate to see the winter ones go...They are this great deep maroon color that makes me feel like royalty...Now we have these wispy brown ones...She loves them so I guess I can live with them too...But only till late October when mine come back out!!!

I have to say...the weeks are flying by...We'll be carving pumpkins in no time!

[Holiday]

Good Sunday evening!! What an icky weekend! Cold, Rainy, Windy, UGH! I didn't see any snow, but apparently we had some early this morning! I heard them say on the news this morning that today would be a good day to use your fireplace! I thought about turning ours on one last time & then decided NAH! I'm DONE with that! Despite the weather, it was a super weekend! Got together with an old friend last night we haven't seen in over a year (due to a divorce) & it was so, so great to see him again. Stayed up shooting the breeze till 5 AM! What were we thinking? Haven't done that for a long time. I should have stayed up to watch the sunrise, but couldn't do it! So, I'm a little sleepy tonight, but it was well worth it! I'm sure Crown got enough sleep for all of us! ;-) I can't believe tomorrow is Monday again! Why do the weekends always go so fast?? Lol! We went to a friends house tonight & when we were leaving their son was asking them to put in The Santa Clause 3 dvd!! I told them I was staying if that was the case!!! Good kid! :smile: Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!

Another weekend has come and gone, hope everyone had a nice sunday. We had record temps again today, got up to 93, a wee bit hard to think about Christmas with that heat.

Back from his Florida vacation.

Hi AUNTSTER! I LOVE that dancing diva!

Just wanted to update you on the Shispering Pines Inn and Sushi Bar. They had to close temporarily because the ENTIRE STAFF got sick with Acute Sinusitis after cleaning Crown's room, which was FULL of Yellow Pollen and Mold Spores. They had to fumicate the room and burn the mattress and pillows. In the future, a ZYRTEC D tablet will be pushed into every "Coffee cake wheat germ muffin", a 'Shispering Pines Speciality.' They will re-open with Dusty singing,~"On a clear day, without mold spores, I can see forever".

(OK, ok I know I'm no Binger...but didn't it get at least one chortle? lol!)

I had to scrape car windows this morning!!! It is April 14th isn't it???? BRRRR!! 27º when I woke up! Come on spring!!!! At least the sun is shining this morning!!

I'm headin' out of town for the day mid-week to get some shopping in - hopefully I'll find an outfit or two in a city two-hours away, there's nothing here. I'm not a fad dresser and I'm not wearing stuff from the 70's to important meetings that I wouldn't wear the first time 'round. I don't care for rayon - eek! I'm too young for polyester - personally I think everyone is too young for polyester.

I'm not only getting taller, I'm getting wider...All in a winters worth of gorging...Time to hit the treadmill, and stop hitting the snack machine...So I can lose some weight in time for Christmas goodies...again...When I was a kid I could eat anything and not gain an ounce...those days are gone...Such is life...I like working out once I get going...But getting going is near impossible...
