Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be a hot one here today with a high of 81 degrees!!! Boo!! LOL!!! Today is my niece's birthday. She called me at 7:30 this morning and had to talk for a half hour while on the way to Hardees for breakfast. Then she had to call back and talk on the way to Walgreens and while she walked around the store. She is a little wound up. LOL!! We will be headed out after lunch to do gifts and cake. I have a few other errands to run while out that way too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!

I have found and received one of the coolest catalogs that I have ever ordered. It's from the place called Cumberland General Store. They are located in Georgia and in this catalog, they have all these things in there that you can purchase from like days long gone. I mean old fashioned tools, cooking, home goods, outdoor products, etc... Their link is here:

I ordered a catalog for like 7.00 dollars and it's like over an inch thick. I mean it is really wild just to read thru it, look at the pictures alone. I look thru it and so many times I think wow, you can still buy this, I haven't seen that made since like the 1800's......

Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. Mr. is pretty much back to himself today, so maybe he just had an epic headache instead of a shunt problem. He's been driving himself pretty hard lately looking for work. I told him to take it easy this weekend. Just the same, he has a doctor appointment next week to see if he should get a specialist to check it out. I'll be getting my botched root canal fixed next week, too.

This forum attracts such good people. I wish I could get together with you and thank you in person.

Good evening, friends! It's been another busy day here. I just can't seem to get caught up on the posts. Today was Ella's 9th birthday and we had a party for her. She was spoiled rotten!

The day also brought another first - EA's first broken arm . She fell yesterday off her playhouse outside and I thought she fractured it then, but the ER said it wasn't, but the radiologist called back and said it was today. She had it set in a splint and sling, then she sees the ortho surgeon on Monday. Oh the joys! At least her pain is much less now!

Well, I'm going to try and get a quick nap in. I hope you're all having a great weekend! I'll ttyt!

At least there is no work tomorrow.

We watched one of the funniest movies we have seen in a long time. "A Million Ways To Die In the West." I was laughing so hard through it, my wife was too, even though it is not her type of movie. It is a bit profane, but my sides still hurt.

I keep looking at some Hallmark ornaments from the year of my birth, just to have since all the ornaments we had growing are long gone. They are quite expensive there. eBay has them at a much lower price.

That is a great idea!

We were at Verizon for a few hours yesterday, and Frozen was on for the kids, and they were all running around & screaming.
