Do loud noises like bad storms and fireworks get her upset?

They can, and sometimes do.
Part of the problem is that she wasn't exposed to thunderstorms in Las Vegas. Had she been raised experiencing them, I don't think it would be bad at all. And fireworks didn't really bother her much, until an idiot in our development lit them off right as we were walking by :/

We just always make sure we're home with her during fireworks over the holiday times.

Lisa was 15 and in 10th grade, I fell in Love, when she walked in that door and into my life.... That's so sweet xmastidings, I love it. My husband swears he knew that he was going to marry me on our very first date. We'll celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary next month. It's crazy how fast the time has gone by.

Dad Update: He went for his follow-up appt. yesterday. The PA said she had looked at his file & it looked like the "shock" worked to lower his heart rate, but it will take a while for the new meds to fully kick in so that he isn't exhausted all the time. Mom said his gout is better too.



Now we wait for aunt's surgery on Monday.

Continued prayers for your dad, as well as your aunt. Keep us updated!

Looking at the date just reminded me that it was 1 month ago today that Dad passed away! :sad: In some ways I can't believe it's been a month already, & in others it seems like an eternity! Regardless - he is missed! :sad:

I have like 1-1/2 hour window to play with before I have to head out on the road and it's not like alot of time to really get into any projects, because as soon as I would really start to get into it, I would have to stop. So, i decided instead to organize the office, do some filing, fill out some checks and stuff them into a Birthday card for my niece/ Godchild for her Birthday.. play with the bunnies and just kind of putz around in here for a little while....

Sounds like a great way to kill some time!! Stay safe on the road!!

I am beat. I had a nice 8.4km (5.2 miles) run this afternoon, followed by an hour or so workout with a friend. I can only imagine of how much more tired I would be if the temperature was about 10c warmer. I'll take the 11c for now!

Kim was cleaning the den when I came home, so I could not really rest, as I had to help with that. She did about 95% of the work. We're just starting some dinner right now, which is nice because I am starving!
