Good morning MMC! It's getting close to being afternoon! Not much going on around here. From the inside looking out, it looks like a gorgeous day....but when you walk outside, the wind about blows you over! And it's chilly!! They are saying 50mph wind gusts this afternoon. Guess I won't be hanging any clothes on the line at lunch unless I want it to end up at the neighbors!

Hope you are all having a good Tuesday!!!

Thank you!
Yes, I'm hoping it's not too quick. Ouch!

About Har- Me, too. [emoji169]

I snapped a sweet photo of Har & Adi asleep on the couch when I was heading out to work this morning! I didn't want to leave. They had the fireplace going, and I was heading out into the snow!

xx

I glance at this quickly and read "I snapped a sweet potato...". I had to do a double-take. How do you snap a sweet potato?

Ok, it was funny at the time.

Finally! I could not access the site for the past three hours. I'll have the countdown up in a moment!

Good Tuesday afternoon, friends!

My apologies for the late update. I attempted to post as soon as I arrived at school, but I could not connect to MMC!

We've reached Tuesday already, or as a certain camel likes to call it "'Pines Day Eve." As always, I am sure that we're all excited to see what Carl has in store. Carl has even made a prediction for tomorrow. He said that he predicts that the countdown will be less than it is today. He just may be right...

Days to the Season: 206
Days to Christmas Day: 248

We are now less than a week away from the 200-day to the Christmas Season milestone. And, with plenty of sunshine and warm weather ahead, this is when the times really seem to pick-up speed. Oh, and let's not forget that the 1/3 to Christmas Day marker is even closer!

The weather in Ottawa isn't too pleasant. We've only had a few brief breaks from rain. After checking a few weather maps, it doesn't look too positive throughout much of North America. Let's hope that these low pressure systems move away soon. We need some sunshine!

I hope you all didn't have as much trouble as me trying to post earlier today. It was quite the struggle. At least the countdown has now (finally) been updated.

Have a Terrific Tuesday, everyone!

Hooray. The countdown has finally been updated. That took a lot longer than I had expected. All is now right in the MMC world.

SIL's wedding on Saturday was nice, but it started pouring rain, sideways, about halfway through the outdoor ceremony! We were under a tent, but the wind was making it sway & I thought we were all going to be buried under the tent!

We had out-of-town family in for the wedding and a cousin & his DD spend the night with us on Saturday. Sunday morning we met at aunt's house for breakfast before they all went home. By Sunday afternoon, we were all worn out.

DH's aunt had her surgery yesterday. The doctor's were positive about it. They will know in about ten days whether or not they got all the cancer & if she'll need more treatment. They found something on her liver, probably cirrhosis. She should come home this afternoon. The next couple of weeks we'll know more.

Hugs to you both, I think of you often.
Why is it people think you need to work for them on holidays while they are most likely out enjoying the day? Last year we shut down the store 2 hours early so we could enjoy our company Christmas party, you would not believe how angry some people got.

Thank you for the hugs and the kind thoughts. They mean more than you know!

I dunno ... It didn't used to be that way at my office. But now it seems as every holiday weekend approaches, the business development team decides it HAS to do a pitch/presentation/proposal/whatever that requires work when the office is (supposed to be) closed. Yes, we do get a comp day for working during the holiday, and I'm grateful for that. But I'd like to be able to look forward to our scheduled holidays without apprehension that it won't be a holiday after all. We'll see what happens when Memorial Day rolls around ...

Glad that you got to spend some quality time with your family over the weekend. Continued prayers for your aunt! Hugs
