Happy Thursday, countdown crusaders!
'Pines Day has past. What a treat it was! Carl was on his best behaviour, even though some of those deals he had were too good to be true. That camel had a big smile on his face all night. The Spring wheel was a good idea. I did not win any free Sweet Tea or Fired Twinkies, but Carl did his best karaoke. That camel can sing!
I don't know if our numbers are anything to sing about just yet, but they are a couple days ahead that just might make us hit a high-note! How soon are they? Well, let's take a look!
Days to the Season: 204
Days to Christmas Day: 246
We are now barely more than half a week away from hitting 200 Days to the Christmas Season. But, look at that, we are just under half a week away from the 1/3 to Christmas Day milestone. Back-to-back days will cause for extra special celebrations! In fact, it might be a good thing that they do not coincide with 'Pines Day. Who knows what Carl would have planned?!
We are still searching for April weather in Ottawa. The wind and dreariness has really made it feel like late October or early November. Even so, at least we aren't receiving any snow. I saw that the white stuff was prevalent around the midwest yesterday. Hopefully that changes today!
The workday is about to begin for me. I am teaching at Russell for the third day in a row. I have (at least) a half day tomorrow, too. As for your day, I hope it goes by very quickly. We are descending down the hill towards the final weekend of April. Let's hope we can find some May flowers on the other side.
Wherever you may be, do your best to make the most of your day. Have a Thrilling Thursday, friends!
