Good to hear that the pancake and PJ event went well... Bad to hear that you mother fell; not good! Glad she didn't hurt herself, but your right, one misstep like that can could potentially be bad.

I worry about that with my grandfather all of the time. That's why I am pulling him out of his house and moving him in with me. I'm going to put in a chair lift for the stairs, an ada ramp in the garage and ada safety rails, oles and handles everywhere's so he has places to hold onto....

Thanks xmastidings. It is scary. I love what you are doing for your grandfather. It's wonderful.

Happy Friday, Weekend Watchers!

We're only one workday away from the final weekend of April. Doesn't that sound crazy?! Yes, at this time next week, we will be ushering in the month of May. Let's just hope that temperatures seem more like May rather than March. Mother Nature has been fooling many of us fairly well over the past week, hasn't she?

One thing that contains no fooling is the countdown. Let's have those magical numbers bring a smile to our face.

Days to the Season: 203
Days to Christmas Day: 245

It looks like Crown will have a grand time with the countdown upon his return tomorrow (Saturday) evening. It's great that he will return for our back-to-back milestones. It doesn't happen often throughout the year, but it does, indeed, cause for a special celebration.

Yes, we are now less than half a week away from the 200 Days to the Christmas Season marker. And, more closely, we are only two days away from the 1/3 to Christmas Day milestone. It will be a Special Sunday!

I tried to get the weather to turn around yesterday, but I see some dark clouds on the horizon of Canada's Capital. I'm really hoping they don't contain any snow! Well, the bell should be ringing in about 20 minutes. I only have a half day today, but it is certainly better than no day.

Let's start the countdown to the end of the workweek. Have a Fantastic Friday, everyone!

Thank you Brent!
Hope you have a great day!!!

Mine, too! Love everything about it! Why can't we have fall for six months!?

Oh wouldn't that be wonderful...With the colors, the smells, the temperatures, no mosquitoes, the bountiful produce, cold crisp apples.... Oh I could go on forever an ever....:-D

Good morning!
Happy Friday!
Just had the dogs in the backyard, it's chilly out there. Temperatures are only in the 30's this morning. Not too much planned for today, typical day of errands and chores. I also need to work on a grocery list. I'm going to try and sit down with my Dreambook today and start my wish list. I've flipped through it but I still haven't looked through the entire book yet. That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

LOL....Last night I told Lisa that if she got a dreambook, she would open it up would be a full size picture of me on the first page....I said, "That's all you need baby!!!!!"!!!:lol::lol:

Now, of course, I just cannot fully explain to you the glance I got back.....

Did you change out of your pajama's before you ran your errands after school? cheesy
Glad to hear your Mom was ok! Hopefully she's not sore today. Our neighbor just had surgery & is in the nursing home now after a fall - she broke the ball in her shoulder in 3 places. OUCH!
I hope the Islanders win their next one. Have a great day HMG!

Lol! I came straight home after work to get changed. I've never left the house in PJ's before, it felt so strange. I was praying that I wouldn't get in to an accident to and from the school.
I'm going to call my mother soon to see how she's feeling. I'm sure she's going to be sore today. Sorry to hear about your neighbor!
The Islanders play again tomorrow night, they'll be fighting for their life!
Hope you have a great day too!!!

Thank you HMG!!! I love him so much and I enjoy his company. I want to do and give back twice as much as him and my belated grandmother had done for me. They raised me, If it was not for their love, guidance and wisdom, I don't know what I would be doing today.... My grandparents are my true mom and dad....

Lol. My husbands sense of humor is very similar to yours. I'm sure I'm shooting my hubby the same kind of looks all the time!

That's so incredibly sweet. I hope that we're able to do that for my parents one day too.

We actually got some snow today, it didn't stick but it was flying.

(Was it snow, or angel dandruff? hmmmmmm) cheesy

I like that! The angels are washing their hair ... or taking a bubble bath.

Good Morning!

I have a confession, I'm a slacker again...I woke up and said to myself fudge it, I'm staying home again today! Take a 4 day weekend... I'mmmmm-a-bad-boy!

I don't know what's a matter with me, just don't feel like going into the office with nothing to do, and sit there staring at the computer for 8 hours, pretending like I actually have something to do...

I'd rather stay at home, get paid (of course I'm using my sick time), and get a lot of things done around the house here. See where I work, if you leave the company, they pay you for all your accrued vacation time that you have, but the sick time, it's a use it or loose it thing. So, I try to us that pot of days off than dip into the vacation pot, unless I really decide to go on a vacation.....

I'm going to go downstairs in the basement again today and do what I like to do...build things....

Come and re-do the suspended ceiling in our basement! We'll show you a movie afterward! cheesy

DH's aunt passed away last night. There were too many complications after the surgery for her to recover. Pray for the family please. DD took it better than I thought she would. DH is holding it together for her but having a hard time. Our house will be the gathering place for visitors, so we'll be busy through the first of next week.

You are not a slacker! Sounds like you'll be hard at work, just at home. Have a great day xmastidings!

I agree ... don't I recall seeing you mention some 80+-hour weeks? You've earned a little "slack" time. Enjoy it!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!! We are off to another chilly start here in central Indy with a temp of 33 degree's. The sun is out though and we should hit 60 degree's this afternoon!!! Then rain moves in for tomorrow. I'll be heading to work here shortly for a mind numbing day of computer training. I don't think it will be that hard, just long and boring. Hopefully I can stay awake. I'm definitely downing some caffeine right now with breakfast. LOL!!!! I'll try to check in on lunch today. Just depends how long it takes me to drive to my aunts house. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Good luck, stay awake, and you'll ace it!
