Good Morning!

I have a confession, I'm a slacker again...I woke up and said to myself fudge it, I'm staying home again today! Take a 4 day weekend... I'mmmmm-a-bad-boy!

I don't know what's a matter with me, just don't feel like going into the office with nothing to do, and sit there staring at the computer for 8 hours, pretending like I actually have something to do...

I'd rather stay at home, get paid (of course I'm using my sick time), and get a lot of things done around the house here. See where I work, if you leave the company, they pay you for all your accrued vacation time that you have, but the sick time, it's a use it or loose it thing. So, I try to us that pot of days off than dip into the vacation pot, unless I really decide to go on a vacation.....

I'm going to go downstairs in the basement again today and do what I like to do...build things....

No it is not!!!! Darn right cold here this morning. I have the furnace on and the fireplace on... I'm sitting here on the couch, with a crocheted blanket draped around my legs and a hot cup of coffee in my hands (when I'm not typing that is...) :cold:

[Holiday]

Well first day at work wasn't to bad. Just a lot of boring stuff to go over. They really need more comfortable chairs if they want you to sit in them that long. LOL!!! Tomorrow is going to be more of the same expect it's going to be 10 to 6 instead of the 7 to 4. Then Saturday they are going to throw me to the wolves. Now I'm off to get some stuff done and to make dinner. I hope everyone has a great evening!!!!

Well, we've been out shopping at Lowes and Home Depot tonight. Bought a new ceiling fan and we are narrowing our selections down for the new tile in the bathroom. We brought home a few selections just to get a good idea on the color matching of the vanity top.

The girls are upstairs watching, I believe American Horror Story and I'm downstairs here surfing MMC.... Can you believe I have the fireplace on tonight, funny huh! My grandfather always aid that for this part of the country, never, ever, plant anything, buy flowers until after the last freeze, which is usually over by the first week of May....

I sure am hoping for a better night of sleep than last night.... Hope everyone is having a great night so far!!

Good luck with all your decisions! FUN! Weather is crazy - from sunburn to frost bite in the same week!

Ha-Ha-Ha....I just did a store locator, for Menards, just to find the closest one to my house and the closest one was 253 miles away in OHIO!!!! Well doesn't look like I will be visiting them anytime soon....

Hey Star turned me onto Bronner's and I've made several purchases from them online and been completely satisified. So, I might have to add them to my Holiday shopping List as well! I always looking for something different....:-D

What's wrong with Ohio??? cheesy I love Menards & I really love their Black Friday sales. They always have fun things!!!
