Christmas Countdown - 2015

I know one thing for sure, I sure am glad that tomorrow is Friday.

I'm hoping for a nice weekend weather wise, because I want to get out there and cut the lawn while it's dry, for the first time this season. And then later, I also want to start putting up some walls in the basement, love, love, love the framing.... I've got everything prepped and ready to go!!!!

We found a contractor that is going to do the upstairs bathroom renovation. I wanted one that was qualified to install a schluter shower system, for a watertight and seamless new tiled shower. They have one of the highest ratings on Angies List, an A+ rating on BBB and they licensed and bonded....I hope, hope, hope that this goes good, I've had some bad contractors before in the past at other homes, and I am hoping for a good one this time....

Well, I'm going to post for a little bit more, then call it a night....You know how it is when that alarm clock goes off at 4:45am..... Even the rooster gives me dirty looks at that time in the morningcheesy.....

Good evening everyone! Busy day for me, I've been on the run all day. Pajama pancake day at the preschool was fun, such a cute idea. I had lots of chores and errands after work. I also took a ride to visit my parents. My mother fell on her way in to a dentist appointment, she tripped over the cobblestone in the parking lot. The poor thing. Thank God she's alright. She's lucky, she really could have hurt herself. I worry so much now that they are getting older. I rushed home after my parents house to get dinner on the table for my daughter before she left for work. And then I watched the Islanders lose another game. One more loss and they're out. And that was my day. I'm beat so I'm going to turn in. I hope everyone had a Happy Thursday. I'll see you in the morning. Goodnight!

Good luck with the contractor!!! If he ends being terrible, I'll drive the 12 miles down the street and have a little talk with Angie for you!!! LOL!!! (Then I'll ask her how she keeps getting the state to give her money and tax breaks when she has never even managed to turn a profit for the year)

Wow you have been busy!!! I hope you can rest some tomorrow!! Glad to hear that your mom is okay after the fall. That is a scary thing to happen. My neighbor just broke 3 of her ribs by falling at the mall.

this is what I woke to this morning.

good news is I figured out what caused the allergic reaction because I woke up this morning again with my face hot and red and my left eye all swollen. There is wool fiber in this new pillow case and I am allergic to wool. The fiber content was not in English so it took some looking around t figure out that is was wool not 100% cotton, it was a mix of both. Shows how careful you have to be about imports.

Glad you were able to figure it out.

Again, not much going on around here today! I got word that my hubby's cousins wife passed away this morning. :sad: She has been battling brain cancer! So sad! Today is their 10th wedding anniversary too! She hung on long enough to make it to 10 years! Feel so bad for them!

Our mozzarella stuffed chicken breasts were very good last night! They were FILLING! And kind of a pain to put together so not sure I'll make them again - but they were very good!
