She's ok, thank the lord, but very shaken up... She is a nurse that works at University of Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore City. She has 2 babies at home, could of have been a lot worse and this morning they could of have been orphans....

That really torks me off! Baltimore City.... they tried to give the city a motto - "The city that reads!". Actually, it's "The city that bleeds"...It's true...Baltimore City is a very, very, very dangerous place, you do not want to go there. They have anywhere between 200 - 300 murders there a year. I have taught my kids to stay away from the place. No matter what place of attraction or tourist thing there is down there...

I'm sorry that happened to your niece, Xmastidings. I'm glad that she is okay though. I hope the hospital takes it as a wake up call and steps up their security.

The weather was good (albeit with some rain) and it was nice to get away from our North Carolina pollen!
We return here to rain and a morning temp of 48 chilly degrees here in the capital city.

Glad you had a safe and enjoyable trip! It was a real pleasure hosting the Countdown for eight days. I am always glad to help whenever it is needed. I am very excited for Wednesdays giant fired twinkie and all-I-can-drink sweet deal. What a deal! Thanks to Carl for being so generous!
 
Good morning, everyone!

Not much time to talk here. I am heading to a friend's cottage shortly. We're having a little 30th birthday workout celebration for a friend and I (my birthday is on Thursday). We are leaving in about 25 minutes.

Today also happens to be the 10th anniversary of my grandfather's passing. I know that he's with me every minute of every day. He's still helped me so much after his passing. It's hard to believe that it has been 10 years already. Wow.

Did her exercises most of the day, in between resting.
At one point she walked out of the bedroom down the hall like normal, and my dad and I said where is your walker?! She said, oops I forgot! So I went and grabbed it for her ;-)
