My friend (lives down the street, but closer to farmland & woods) just texted me, and she and her husband had bears come to visit them last night..yikes! I always worry about that when I walk Harlowe, or take her outside. Hope they stay in the woods and forage there!! They would be neat to see, but from a distance!

So scary - I hope you guys don't get a visit either! People that live 3 blocks or so away from us, had one in their backyard a couple of weeks ago. We have deer in our yard a lot, but I don't want the coyotes or the Bears they see and hear!

Good Afternoon MMC!
A lovely sunny day here with an actual touch of warmth.
Went to costco and some thrift stores with mom this morning, spent to much, but found some good books.

Now I am getting some laundry done as well as giving the sourdough bread thing another try. Tonight I am going to a fund raiser dinner for Youth for Christ.

My day is going well so far, hope yours is too! We're watching the Islander game this afternoon and then we're going to grill chicken and burgers for dinner. First time we'll be firing up the grill this season.

Did her exercises most of the day, in between resting.
At one point she walked out of the bedroom down the hall like normal, and my dad and I said where is your walker?! She said, oops I forgot! So I went and grabbed it for her ;-)

Good Evening, Sugar!!!! I hope you guys have had a great day and that the kids had fun at the party!!! Hope you can sleep better tonight!!!!

We did have a good time, thanks! It was a Slinky's, where at EA's party last, so there was a ton of stuff to do. EA couldn't do some of things because of her arm, but we still had a good time!

I crashed around 7:00! I just couldn't stay up any longer. We went for ice cream and picked up pizza and brought it home to eat later, from the two favorite places near my hometown, that DH has become to love too. After we ate kids curdled up with me, and I crashed. Needless to say, I did sleep better!!! Lol

Hope your first day on the floor went well! I bet it did! Hope you slept well too!

Good Saturday evening, my Christmas friends!

I got up early and cut the grass before the storm descended upon us. It rained almost 5"! Then we took Elizabeth to dance. Went to Moe's for lunch (love that place!), and then to a movie. Nancy & Elizabeth saw Cinderella, and I saw Ex Machina. They loved theirs, me not so much.

When we got home, I went to Jim's shop to plan our next step on the Camaro. Another body shop friend of ours offered to help us, too, so I'm feeling less apprehensive about the paint job. We cranked it again, too. That never gets old!

We have a family reunion on Nancy's dad's side of the family tomorrow.

Great trip to Florida, where we visited cousins and a 93 year old aunt, the last member of my family from her generation.
The weather was good (albeit with some rain) and it was nice to get away from our North Carolina pollen!
We return here to rain and a morning temp of 48 chilly degrees here in the capital city.

Goooooood Evening!!!!:-D How's everyone doing this evening. I just sat down 10 minutes ago for the first time today.

I've been downstairs in the basement all day putting up walls and I finished it. I got all the walls up and tomorrow I can just doing some odds and ends downstairs and then I will be able to start to roughing in the electrical boxes and then start installing the electric this week in the evening or next weekend.

I just turned on the TV and the movie the Replacements is on. I really enjoy watching that one... but now I'm torn because Captain America - The First Avenger is on as well...Like that one as well.... Oh well, at least there is something good on for a change...

Lisa, texted me and she said she was having a bad day at work this evening, so I went out an hour ago and bought her some flowers and some of her favorite ice cream. They are waiting for her when she gets home...

Well, I'm going to check the posts and see what you all been up to in the last 24 hours....

We got a call earlier today from my sil, she informed us that my niece, was assaulted last night, walking from the hospital to her car. They tried to rob her and they roughed her up. She's ok, thank the lord, but very shaken up... She is a nurse that works at University of Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore City. She has 2 babies at home, could of have been a lot worse and this morning they could of have been orphans....

That really torks me off! Baltimore City.... they tried to give the city a motto - "The city that reads!". Actually, it's "The city that bleeds"...It's true...Baltimore City is a very, very, very dangerous place, you do not want to go there. They have anywhere between 200 - 300 murders there a year. I have taught my kids to stay away from the place. No matter what place of attraction or tourist thing there is down there...

Hmmm, will they protest about that or report that on the news; don't hold your breath....

I'm so sorry to hear this happened to her. I'm glad to hear she wasn't hurt worse than she was though. Praying they find out who did this to her. Lots of prayers for your niece! So sad.
