Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good morning MMC! Happy Monday! Hope you all had a nice weekend! Even though we had 2 funeral "events" going on this weekend, it was still a pretty nice weekend. Dads burial was quick & the priest did a nice job. The pizza's at my brothers (on the grill) were delicious! We had a good time hanging out at their house.









We went to the viewing for Jims cousins wife yesterday - that was a sad one. We went early & then sat outside on the patio with neighbors & grilled out! And here we are @ Monday again already!

Happy Milestone Day, MMC!!!!! It looks like it's going to be a beautiful day here with a high of 60 degree's. I'm going to be stuck inside though pretty much all day though since I work 10 to 7. Today is my last day shift. I'll start overnights on Thursday. I don't know what they have in store for us today. Hopefully nothing to exhausting since I'm not feeling the greatest. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

 

[Holiday]

Weirdest thing happened today. Our whole town could only access about 4 or 5 websites. Took a few hours, but then it got fixed. Sounds fishy to me.

Cold day here...never got above 60. We stayed in, picked up, and cooked most of the day. We are going to my brother's house at the end of the week, so we tried to get ahead and get all the meals done. I'm pretty dang excited. Should be a good time.

What is even more exciting is that we declared Chrstmas Tree Day to be Nov. 7. I have officially started a countdown to that day. Speaking of countdowns, I can't believe we are 200 until the season.

Awesome.

Woke up extra early today with my youngest, she had to be at work by 6:00am today. I wanted to make sure she had a big breakfast before she left. I made her a ham and cheese omelette, hash browns and bacon. It looked awfully good, I may have to make myself the same later. I'm just going to relax for now with another cup of coffee before everyone else wakes up. Not too much going on here today. Typical day of errands and chores. I have a few phone calls to make as well. Big game tonight, let's go Islanders!

Damp and quite chilly here all day yesterday and I never saw the temps get out of the 50's.
Today should be warmer and drier, fortunately, and it has started off at 44 degrees in our neck of the MMC woods.
