Thanks, Holiday!!! I think it's actually going to get worse though. They just have unrealistic expectations of how fast you should be able to stock stuff. Maybe if everything was in dumb bins I could do a case a minute but going up and down ladders and getting down and back up off of the floor, that just isn't going to happen.

Well, we do a few different ones. My parents have been getting me the nurses one every year, for several years now. They had also been getting me the snow globe series, but I think they discontinued that one. They also get DH the fire truck series every year too. I always get the kids a character of some sort each year.

I didn't realize how tired I was until I sat down to relax when I got home.
Inventory went well but standing in the freezer, counting really makes your fingers hurting from the cold. I was wearing gloves, but being in a -10*f freezer it gets through quite fast.

Day off tomorrow, does anyone know if Hallmark has the Dream Book out for the public yet?
I was thinking of running to pick one up if they did.

I got to hit the hay, my eyelids are very heavy.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Jacob's recording session went well. They have a couple days of mixing ahead, then it'll be played on the local radio. Another star in the family! LOL

It's still raining here. Elizabeth just texted me saying the power is out at school, and the whole high school is in the lunchroom (it's too dark in the halls without power).

And Jacob told us last night at 10:00 that he's going to be in the regional Spelling Bee...today! Now I have to go to the boss's office and ask for more time-off to go to that. I hate asking for time off for the same day. It feel unprofessional, but I don't have any choice. Nancy can't go, and we insist on one of us being at events. Oh well.

I think I'm going to get DH one for his birthday too! We had got my FIL one for his birthday and that's what really got me interested in one. It does really keep me motivated, I'm eating better, keeping up with my workouts, and losing weight. I'm happy with it! [emoji4]

Today is my day off! Not a lot planned for today - just my regular stuff. We have to take EA to the doctor at 2:30, to get her elbow x-rayed, to see how it's coming along. Hopefully we'll get good news. Other than that, it will just be a normal day.

One of our nephews is making a name for himself locally as a country singer-songwriter. He has a manager and few songs on iTunes. I heard he was going to perform at a NASCAR event, but I haven't been able to pin down the exact event.

Thanks! My sister says this is going to be our best garden ever with him overlooking it! LOL! xx BUT we have to get it planted 1st. Geez! He would be hollering at us by now to get that stuff planted!! For sure! Weather has just been too cold & wet. And we had all the funeral stuff to get through. And now my sister who gardens with me - its' her daughter getting married this weekend. Always an excuse. Lol

I tried to take a picture of green Gracie, but it didn't show up very well!

Had some Family Drama yesterday. My sister called around 9pm to let me know that she and her husband were spending the night at a hotel. She lives on the outskirts of Baltimore, and some kids in the area were throwing rocks at houses and stores and just generally getting out of hand. My sister said that the Riot Police showed up, and lots of very low flying helicopters. She got good and spooked and grabbed her purse and ran for it. Her husband was at his bowling meet, so she went there first. The excitement was still going on when he left the bowling alley, so they stayed at a hotel. She said she drove past her house this morning, and all was peaceful again. No rioters, no helicopters, but police were cruising the area. This is scary. I'm sure if you had told me that there would be riots in my sister's neighborhood, I would have laughed at you. No more. It's a different world now.
