Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

What a busy weekend! Elizabeth had ballet practice Saturday morning, and Jacob's band had a gig that afternoon, so Saturday was full. Jacob's gig was at a nursing home. No kidding! I don't know who booked it, but there were folks in wheelchairs tapping their feet LOL.

We later ran into the son of a friend who played in the band with me for years. He has a band going, and asked Jacob about joining. How circular that Jacob will be playing with the son of a friend who I started our band with! I thought it was pretty cool, anyway. One nice thing: they have a preacher playing harmonica, so they won't be playing bars like we used to LOL.

I got Nancy a new smart phone, got it working yesterday, then I dropped it and broke it. Ack! Replacement is already on the way.

I have been thinking lots about Seawaters and the loss of her son, my heart aches for her. My prayers are with her especially today as they say their farewells.

We are getting a thunderstorm this afternoon, I get to watch it from work.

Happy Monday MMC Friends!

I am having issues with my work computer and have been on the phone with the Help Desk all morning...they could not figure out what ir wrong and had to escalate it so I am waiting for a call back..

On a side note...did QVC set a date for Christmas in July or is it the same week as Hallmark? I was thinking of that this morning.

I haven't been able to figure out what weekend will be the full CIJ event on qvc. The normal sources have been tight lipped about their schedules this year. Valerie just posted today that she will have a heartfelt holidays show on July 1st though. So it looks like we may get a whole month of scattered Christmas shows like last year.

HA! Another coincidence! Yesterday morning at the lake I had my iPhone 6 sitting on our patio table. Our 2 little neighbor girls came over & they were playing with bubbles. I was talking with our neighbors & I turn around to see my phone drowned in bubbles! :-? I could have puked! It's not working - I have it "soaking" in rice & I'll check it Wednesday to see if it will work. xx I activated my old iPhone in the meantime. Of course I don't have insurance on it. I hope Nancy loves her new phone!

I have a feeling she will need to be cut pretty short. She get so hot - and it's hard to keep her from getting knots - especially where her harness goes for walking.

Good morning MMC! Happy Monday!! I'm hoping to do some catching up from the weekend posts but it's hard to do on Mondays! Back to work & so much to catch up on! cheesy

Hope you all had a great weekend! My hubby is off work today - planting corn! I'm not sure what time he got home last night - I went to bed at 11:30 & they were still out in the fields. Git 'r done! Gracie gets groomed today! That's about all the excitement for today! We are supposed to have a high of 78º with a chance of rain this afternoon. Booo! But it's beautiful now!
