[Holiday]

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday!!! The morning is winding down & I'm finally caught up!!

I hope everyone has some nice Mothers Day weekend plans! Tonight we have a graduation party - but I'm not sure that we are going to make it. We may send a card with some $$ & head to the lake! Tomorrow we have an 80th birthday open house for our neighbor. We will stop in for a bit - it's only from 2-4 tomorrow afternoon. Sunday we will stop over at my MIL's & my brother is having a "bring your own meat" type cook out at his house for my family for supper. Other than that - we will be at the lake - hopefully NOT watching it rain! I'd like to get some bike riding in!

Our patio party was very nice last night. Weather was perfect! Everyone was gone a little before 11, so not too bad! The chicken dinners were very good!

It won't be long now & it's quitting time for me! :dance:

My hubby just called & said the techy guy can fix my phone & I can get it this afternoon. I'm super excited now!!!!!!!!

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

My mom keeps texting me pictures of the water on the NC coast. I've always been a mountain man, but that water sure is pretty!

We took Elizabeth to dance yesterday afternoon, and I went by Lowe's while we were waiting on her. I wound up buying more tomato plants for the garden, including some expensive Cherokee Purple tomato plants. I just love fresh tomatoes! But I have to stop investing in this garden, or I'll have $200 in it soon. Whew.

I always wanted a garden. We just don't have the room, my backyard is all pool, patio and gazebo. I should look in to growing fruits & vegetables in containers & pots. Anyway, hope you have a great day Brad!

In the words of the late, great George Jones "It's finally Friday!" I apologize for not being able to post very much lately, but today is my last day of work for over a week. We will be headed for vacation tomorrow morning. I'll try to post more in the next week. I hope everyone has a great day and weekend!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be another hot 85 degree day here with a slight chance of storms this evening. I hope it does rain personally. I'll probably go stand in it if it does. LOL!!! Not to much planned for me. Just need to clean up around the apartment some more to get ready for everyone to come for mother's day. Of course, that will probably change at the last minute and we will end up at my sister's because she will have some excuse to drive in here. I also want to go ahead and cook some stuff up for dinner this morning so I don't have to heat up the apartment later when it's so hot out. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning, everyone! A Friday morning!

I thought I would have plenty of time to visit and make some posts this morning, but the dreaded page not loading issue happened to me again. It seems to shutdown from 9 to 10:50am. It's strange.

I am at Rockland today. It's my first time teaching the high school kids here since last June. For this morning, I have only been in the Student Success lab, so I really only have to make sure that students are working on things. It's a pretty easy job. This afternoon, I have half a gym class and then one full class. No complaints. It has been an easy day thus far.

Well, the lunch bell will be ringing shortly. Everything is much earlier here. The 8:20am start is a little difficult. Although I do really enjoy getting out at 2:30!

It's another beautiful day just outside of Canada's Capital. Temperatures are suppose to rise to above 30c/high 80s. Just looking outside makes me excited. There still is not a cloud in the sky.

Ah yes, the busy Mother's Day Weekend! I'm going shopping today for coconut cake fixings and corsage, and then tomorrow I can make the cake and maybe take Mom to the church flea market (which she loves). Sunday I'll take her to church if she can go, and then we'll have a fancy lunch for her at her house. My sister is also going to pick up a bunch of plants for Mom's outdoor hanging planters, so that should make her happy.

Mom is still feeling off. Doctor called her in some migraine meds to try but can't get them until next week.

I do believe that I am getting my weekend off to a very nice start. I just picked up my 2015 Holiday Dreambook from the local Hallmark store....

I especially liked the part where, if I order by June 15th and I get 15% off! Got me some good reading material for the next several evenings! I figured while I was there, I might as well sign-up and become a rewards member, since this is like the 3rd Precious Moment that I have purchased from that store, plus cards...

Oh, I bought Lisa a Precious Moment for Mothers Day, to add to her collection...
