Good Morning, Friends.

Another week.
But a special one.
A week that will see us arrive at the half way marker to Christmas Season 2015 and launch us into the second half of our journey.

But first, the numbers:
Days to the Season: 186
Days to Christmas Day: 228

And we have now drawn to the point that we are just barely over HALF a week away from the above-mentioned Milestone, which will arrive on May 15, this coming Friday!

Plenty of rain yesterday as "Ana" passed by rather harmlessly to the southeast.
Essentially no wind around here, with only one brief tornado warning, out of our county.
Today will see a bit more rain, the remnants of Ana, and we have started it off at 68 soaked degrees here.


Have a Marvelous Monday, regardless as to whether your are wet or dry!

It is so much more comfortable this morning outside, I have the doors and windows open to let all the freshness inside till I go to work.

Well I survived the blood test. It actually turned out to be not bad at all. I've always had to have a blood draw to check my A1C level but they had the fingertip test there. So it was just a small poke to my middle finger and they had the results in 3 minutes. It was a little bit elevated but not bad enough to start me on meds yet thankfully. So I remain the only person in my family whose not technically a diabetic yet.

Good Morning, MMC!!!! It's supposed a dreary rainy day here with a high of 80 degrees. I may dance in that rain here later!! Then tomorrow, spring makes a comeback!! Woohoo!!! Bring on the 60's!! Not to much going on today. I'm sitting in the waiting room at the doctors right now. Then after I get out of here, I have a few stops to make on the way home. Then I think a nap is in order before I start the job hunt again. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!

Thank you Snowflake. I'm sick as a dog. I have a few things to do around the house but I'm going to try and head back to bed at some point. I'm hoping the Airborne will give my immune system a boost.

Hi everyone. I am so sick! I got even worse as the day went on. I'm about to crawl in to bed. Not sure if I'll be able to sleep but I have to lay down and rest, it's been a long day. I am kind of over this preschool job. I know I'm only there a couple of days a week but I can't keep getting sick like this. My immune system is shot. I decided that I'm going to finish out the school year but I won't be going back after that. My last day will be June 9th. And I feel really good about the decision. My health is more important than being there. I'm going to take a dose of Airborne and jump in to bed. I hope everyone enjoyed their day. See you in the morning.

Good morning everyone!
Today is my 25th wedding anniversary. Can't believe I'm sick. My poor husband! We have plans to go out to dinner at a fancy schmancy restaurant. My girls all took off of work so that they could go with us. I feel bad to cancel so I'm going to rest today and try and pull myself together this evening!
