Christmas Countdown - 2015

Hey gang! Sorry for the absence, but I've been away at a program for principals. There are 16 of us in the state who participated in the 2nd year of the program this year and I graduated today. Pretty stoked. Feeling out my 3rd year application over the next week or so....



1/2 to the season sounds good to me! I'm all about a downhill slide. Although I'm ashamed to admit it, I've been pouring through Pinterest looking at Christmas stuff lately. They have some really neat things about Christmas traditions that we have been talking about for our new little family. I think I'm going to start a new thread and ask some of y'all about your family Christmas traditions...so please come by and tell them to me. We really are trying to come up with some ideas.

A long night here, just played catch up here I would have liked to replied to more posts but it took longer than I planned working on taking some songs out of my MP3 player and replacing them with new ones. So I will have some new tunes for the ride into work tomorrow!!!



Tomorrow will be a longer day, I work all day come home and head to East Longmeadow for JP's baseball game.We won't get home until somewhere close to 9pm. Ugghhhhh!

Ascension Day here in Norway today. So everything is closed.
The kids is watching TV and takin it easy.

I know what you mean. I'm not a big hockey fan! I'm just not a fan of anything associated with Washington... LOL!!!! Seriously now, Its not because I don't like the sport or anything, I just don't watch it that much or follow it. But lately, I've been watching it a little bit because it does get a little exciting....

I am not a Capitals fan by any means, just wanted to see the Rangers lose. lol

Ha-ha-ha Zach is rooting for the Capitals and his girlfriend just came over and she is from New Jersey and she is rooting for the Rangers...Getting sporty around here.....I can see someone going to the penalty box....:-D

We have a pretty intense Game 7 going on between the Rangers and Capitals! I don't know how I going to pull myself away from the TV at the 'Pines. I mean, I do not really cheer for either team, but good hockey is good hockey!

So the Rangers won but what a game. Going to overtime in game 7, that was so exciting.

Good morning everyone. I'm dragging my feet this morning. I didn't feel well when I woke up so I took a couple of cold pills and went back to bed for a little bit. I'm running behind schedule now. Wish I didn't have to work but I can't stay home again. I hope the shift goes by fast. Well I've got to run, I'll catch up here later this afternoon. I hope everyone has a nice day!

Please keep Harlowe in your thoughts & prayers. I found a tick on her this morning, it is embedded between her nose & eye. It's in such a way that we can't get it ourselves. We are taking her to the vet first thing when they open. I just hope nothing has been transmitted. Poor thing was acting so stressed and anxious last night, wonder if it had been on her then. You definitely can't miss it this morning

She is on Frontline, so fingers crossed.

Please keep Harlowe in your thoughts & prayers. I found a tick on her this morning, it is embedded between her nose & eye. It's in such a way that we can't get it ourselves. We are taking her to the vet first thing when they open. I just hope nothing has been transmitted. Poor thing was acting so stressed and anxious last night, wonder if it had been on her then. Ticks.... I don't like at all... That is one thing that I worry about for myself ever since I moved to where I presently live because the deer are so prominent here. I already found one deer tick crawling on me and now when I feel any kind of tickle, itch or something, I'm like paranoid that I have another one crawling on me.

Isn't it hard to imagine how just one small little insect (the size of a pin head) can cause so much illness in us larger mammals. Think about it, they release a parasite that gets into our red blood cells and then bam, were done...No cure, no nothing, unless you catch it very early and then they can give you doses of antibiotics....

That's great that's she's on Frontline; good thinking on your part. Hopefully, nothing was transmitted... I'll be thinking about her and your worries of her....
